Jennifer Lien In Legal Trouble Again

Yes, the report from Guy Gardener's link is eight years old and it would be a good thing if those things were only a matter of a long-gone past.

Let's hope so.

The religious right who have so much power in American politics want to crate a self regulated ban on premarital sex, now that they can't randomly burn women as witches any more. People who can't screw until they get married are going to get married, which is good for society, in theory.

People should wait till they're ready regardless of if they are married, and children should know that they're not people.

(I think of everyone under 30 as a child.)

I don't think anyone was ever burned as witch here. Hanged yes...and it was men and women. I do understand the point you are trying to make however.

4) Flashing your breasts. You can get arrested for indecent exposure in California if you flash your breasts in front of a lot of people in order to gratify yourself or offend somebody else, according to the Shouse Law Group, a group of California criminal defence lawyers. And indecent exposure can land you on the sex offender registry.

Again state by state, It's possible that Tennessee might be more lenient than California.

No.

No.

Obligatory post about marrying your cousin. Just bringing it up to get it out of the way.

Both California and Tennessee allow first-cousin marriage.

Interesting. Wonder why there are no jokes about inbreeding floating around about CA.

Virginia allowed it because the 'first families' wanted it. I'm talking Jeffersons and Randolphs and Harrisons etc. These weren't hillbillies living in the woods. They wanted to marry their own 'kind'.

But getting off topic here...

Maybe it's a way to show they've had checks that there's no risk of passing down genetic defects? That's really the reason why we have those laws.

Yes, but I found the description rather funny. I'm not serious here, just thinking: Do they do that on a daily basis from 9 to 5?

Btw. most incest laws apply even the persons in question were adopted from different families, so there can be no genetic defect.

Only AFTER marriage I hope.

Yes. THAT makes it not creepy.

Then you're wrong, they're not. They're young adults, and that's it.

As well, if the Religious Right think that banning sex until somebody's older (but not teaching sex education) is going to help, they'll see the consequences when people are so confused that they have problems having sex and have to see sex therapists or have to ask for help from somebody like Dan Savage, or end up having said teenage premarital sex clandestinely anyway. Mostly, they'll end up like a couple Savage once described who couldn't conceive a child, who then went and got all sorts of tests, including psychological ones, until the truth was found out; they weren't having babies because neither of them know how to have sex on account of both being raised in a religious fundamentalist cult(s) that forbade sex until marriage.

When I get a little older, I'll start to think that everyone under 40 is a child.

^That's fine, man. All I'm saying is that 20-somethings might not be so receptive to being called 'children'. :vulcan:

No no, they are most certainly fully grown adults - and are fully capable of having sex with 40, 50, 60, 70 year olds and beyond. There is no such thing as age qualifications past 21.
