Yeah, his ignorance comes off as a bit too wilfull, and that's the nice interpretation.
It's not just the readers and creators Dynamite has to consider here. Most of their best-selling titles are of licenced characters. Red Sonja, James Bond, Vampirella, the companies licencing these characters to Dynamite might also not be happy about such a publicity nightmare, and I'm pretty sure publishers like Dark Horse, Boom or IDW would be very happy to pick those up. Not to mention Marvel probably already trying to get Red Sonja back.
Well, that was my thinking behind going second hand, so that works, too.I've been reading most of my comics through the digital library app Hoopla, so I can just stick with that, since at least that way money won't be going to Dynamite.
Well, I'm not enjoying it overmuch. To be honest, I'm finding the whole thing more and more of a struggle as I go on.I didn't read Trinity--curious to know what you think.

My initial enjoyment and enthusiasm for the new dynamic (Supes and family on the farm, being the replacement Superman etc.) was pretty quickly lost with the reset and return to Metropolis and it's been one uninspiring arc after another in Superman and Action Comics. Supersons underwhelms as does Trinity. And Supergirl's just plain bad.
I'm just into 2018 now so my target of the Bendis stuff is coming into sight if I can last that long.
Hope it's worth it.
King retracts his statement on Jae Lee. And the lesson here is, don't jump the gun, if you throw accusations around, make sure they are actually justified.
