I haven't built anything for Bridge Commander in over a decade (Blake's 7 Ship pack, and the Trek V Shuttle are still knocking about).have you ever considered recording the build? I know some gaming live streamers have keyboards that show they key commands used too. It could help someone learn. Also, that mesh as is might be low poly enough to be textured for Bridge commander, if I may make the request?
. and I guess it's a pathfinder. also, any tips on boat hulls...do you actualy use a cylinder to boolean off the curved cut on the back? I assume the deflector cut out is the same process. That would be the Sutton Class USS Pathfinder.Doh. I dunno how I did that but it was 3am. it's page 31. and I guess it's a pathfinder. also, any tips on boat hulls...do you actualy use a cylinder to boolean off the curved cut on the back? I am the same with adhd. Dunno if I am on the spectrum but I strongly suspect if I was a kid nowdays I would be....even if you just recorded a video of you making something....they have the gamer overlays you can do during videos that show what buttons you are pressing so you dont even need to talk through it. but whatever the case, I have that connie tutorial by imaginaship, sadly he didnt say which version of blender he was using, which might matter lol. That would be the Sutton Class USS Pathfinder.
The basic is a high-poly sphere, cut in half, shaped into the curves I need - and yes, the undercut is a boolean using a shaped cylinder, same as the deflector cut in.
It's well worth looking at tutorials on how to build ships - may seem a ballache, but it gives you a feel when you start doing your own stuff. I'm not a good teacher, lol. I lack the skills to actually impart knowledge to others. I've tried, but it comes down to my autism, I guess, or ADHD. Some things are simple for me, and I can't understand why they aren't for others. The reverse is true as well. It's frustrating.
Anyways, more soon.

I was 47 when I got my diagnosis of Autism, and 54 when I got my ADHD tag; until then, I was just "weird." But I've embraced it now; it's a part of me and always has been.Just saying, I got my AuDHD diagnosed last year at age 43. Learning more about how my brain works and with the help of meds, I can function a lot better than before that.
Thank you :-)That's a really nice looking ship.![]()
