B looks busy though I do like that style of station for "key" roles. Could you do A for the top half of the plan, than do wall-mounted stations like on B's bottom left for the two bottom quarters? dJE
Though you might not believe it to see my environment, I prefer cleaner to cluttered appearances. A & D
A & D A bit old school but I prefer them as they are less cluttered. OTOH, I like the B & C paneling where it is close to the TOS Bridge. The TMP/TWOK layout felt like a pain to maintain and service with those round displays and custom curved consoles. IMHO
I know what you mean, lol. Yes, their is a lot to be said for A & D, it fits very well. D is a preference between those two because of it's science leaning. One really hopes that dusting will have come a long way by the time of the 23rd Century.
Sorry for the radio silence, having some building work done on the house. Will be back in the thick of this in the next couple of days :-)
Finished adding all the spot lights, need to tweak the ones on the lower saucer, but they are not far off. Have sorted out the problem of light leaking out of the rooms on the secondary hull - small adjustment, but needed doing - comments welcome - more soon!
Wait - you can have light leaks on a CG ship. I did not know that. I thought the light only existed where you put it in. lol I found it! From nearly 40! years ago.... Amazing how similar ours both are. I don't remember why I painted it with that scheme... Original. https://i.ebayimg.com/thumbs/images/g/bmkAAOSwBvJim5VS/s-l225.webp ...perhaps I did not have, could not afford the correct color so I just star-fleeted it up. And that green... I have noooo idea where my head was for that one. lol I don't know what happened to the sled, or the box. Hopefully they made it into deeep storage.
