Janeway, Did she just need some Romance?

The show exploring any characters sexuality is fine.

Saying "Kathy wouldn't have been such a bitch if she got a stiff cock up her what not now and then" is ridiculous and insulting.

You put it more, um, vividly than I would, Guy, but I absolutely agree.

Bitchiness and niceness are simply not all that closely related to sexual activity. A lot of people like to think it is, but that's because a lot of people prefer simplistic explanations, and you can't get much more simplistic than "She just needs some luvin'."

Well despite appearances she did get the most loving on the ship since she had 4 or 5 babies with Tom Paris, and when he apologised for raping her her, she asserted with a smirk that he shouldn't be so cocksure that she didn't rape him.

Other than Tom, the father of her children, Janeway had twice as many babies as the rest of her crew combined, so really what did she have to prove by exercising her midsection?

Kathy had enough street cred to retire her cooch until some one special came along.

Lol sexist? How absurd. It the show itself all of these topics are covered at length. In several episodes The Doctor broaches the subject. Janeway herself notes in several episodes that she is having difficulty walking the line of how and where the Captain associates with her crew.

She did?

I remember the Fair Haven one, and a bare mention in Workforce when she basically tells Jaffen to stay on Quarra. You said it was broached in several episodes by the doctor and by Janeway, so I was just wondering if I slept through them. Wouldn't have been another one of those "Janeway generalizations," would it? ;)

Jeeeeez, Guy...

No, I can't, but what I can now imagine, thanks to you, is Neelix attempting this. The horror, the horror!

;)

And I'll one up on that.

The Doctor in Holodeck One, and Neelix in Holodeck two, in direct competition with one another, standing outside their perspective holodecks barking like Cheech Marrin from Dusk till Dawn (You know what he said.) to get warm bodies into their speed dating game rather than the set up across the corridor.
