I still enjoy the show. 
I thought that was Guy's modus operandi. I always imagine that when he types his posts there were originally bullet points and that he's omitting great swathes of text in between them - that's the only way I can account for the lack of connectivity between each line typed.
I just assume they are stream of consciousness, pure, unedited, uncensored thoughts from his mind. To fully understand him, you need a Rosetta Stone to translate his pop culture references and understand his state of mind when posting.
In JLA, to figure out a trap set by the Joker, the Martian Manhunter uses his shape changing DNA to alter his brain to think like the Joker. Once he did, he found the maze he and Superman were in was actually easy to solve as they just followed a straight path to the exit. Then the space station they were on exploded.
Or, to make this post somewhat related to the topic, perhaps Guy is just a faulty DRN.
I really enjoyed "Arrhythmia", which is possibly my second-favorite episode so far following "Skin". It started with a great teaser and the "illegal artificial organ trade-meets-extortion scheme" thing was one of the more original plots this season. There was also the twist that the funeral home guy was originally presented as someone who thought that he was helping people while he was in fact the one who let the people die by having their timer run out. At the same time that doctor was originally built up as the Big Bad until he was revealed as the one who was just the unwitting pawn. Fortunately, the Big Bad turned out the be artificial organ company manager's assistant and not the manager herself. So, it also was a less predictable episode.

The President in Almost Human is Jack Johnson; he beat out John Jackson by a narrow margin.
I think so far it hasn't even been canonically established that the United States still exist in Almost Human or that city the show is set in is located in the US. For all we know, it could be the North American Union, or the New California Republic or the Pacific Commonwealth or something like that. :P
Marathoned the first 5 episodes the other week. I like it. It's not the best thing out there, it's pretty middle of the road, but it's got good actors and an attempt at a story and I like the future tech. It's better than 90% of what else is on sci-fi wise.

I still like the theory that this is the prequel to Judge Dredd. Kennix will become a celebrated cop, cloned, and be the model for Dredd.
Thus, this is the precursor to MegaCity One.
It's easily not the best thing ever, but what if your sample is only from the new shows this year?

Well, I like Agents of SHIELD better. I'm not watching a lot of new shows this year, so I can't say about others.

Sleepy hallow has some prospects, Agents of Shields could be worse, Atlantis is awful, Once Upon a time in Wonderland is a already tired, The Originals physically hurts me, the Tomorrow People needs to be stopped, did Orphan Black start this year? If it did then Orphan Black wins. Dracula is boring, Under the Dome was a travesty of convenience, to watch Hemlock Grove I had to pretend I was tied to me chair.
Da Vinchi's Demons was fantastic!
The Witches of Eastend wasn't that bad. Safe, made for 40 year old house wives, but nice melodrama.

I think this show is fun/cool. It sucks the ratings aren't ideal...but I have enjoyed everything I've seen...I can't say the same about Revolution but it is what it is. LOL.

What new show do you think is better? SHIELD? I guess you could argue that it better. I wouldn't agree but ok, maybe they are both bad on the same level. I'm very happy to have both shows, even with them mostly being mediocre.
Thinking about it, there weren't that many new this season genre shows. I would definitely put Almost Human behind Sleepy Hollow and Shield though. Sleepy Hollow by a long shot.
I hope Almost Human lasts long enough to overcome the abysmal plots we've seen so far. The character moments have been fun.

I'm feeling all kinds of dense, for some reason I thought Sleepy Hallow was in its second season. Sleepy Hallow is definitely the best new genre show of the year. By so much that SHIELD & Almost Human can't even be seen in the rear view mirror. I like SHIELD but it's so dour, it has none of the fun of the cinamatic Marvel universe, even with the pithy Weddonist writing.
