Eh, 30's no big deal. My oldest brother's recently turned 37 and still looks like he's gonna turn 30. It's all how you handle it.

I feel like I've started a new chapter in my life, too. A darker, turbulent chapter, mind you, but anyway... I too was in your shoes and had the same feelings, but eventually, having taken stock of things, I considered it an exciting period in my life, a time to do the things I want to do, for real. It's taking a while, but there's time. Plenty of time for that sort of thing. I hope.
