If I made me into an avatar. The board would crash and go up in flames. Little children would be emotionally maimed for life.

That's exactly what I thought would happen as a result of my doing this with my face.

Well, the board's still here, isn't it? ;) :)

Mind you, for added safety and protection, I've disguised my visage underneath "artistic" filters (the same thing they do when transporting weapons-grade plutonium, apparently - and it gives me a nice radiant glow as you can see :bolian:).

That's me and my awesome bike. It has cool brakes for epic descents.

All right--having criticized SicOne in another thread for ignoring the OP, I felt duty-bound to return here, and take his question seriously.

There's no mystery about the photo in my avatar. Like SicOne, I only just recently noticed the avatar-photo thread.

This isn't a great photo--I look a bit cadaverous, IMO--but it's the only recent photo I have. I don't get photographed often.

Well, okay...I admit when I said last Sept. that I would crash through the window and drag you through your burning house and grab your classical music selection on the way, I didn't think it through fully. :) A fireman carry maybe?

I'm starting to wish I had a pic of me as my av. I feel a bit like I've walked into a room and listened to your conversation while wearing a cardboard box or something. Do you think this could be used as an av (if made smaller of course).

ETA: I picked it because it was already online, doesnt show more than my face and is trek related.
