Yeah, no. Klingons totally don't sing...

May Gene have mercy on you soul for such a sinful post.Star Trek is supposed to be fun.
SNW Series Finale:I was really hoping for a Short Treks like this back when they were a thing.
I do recall James Cawley saying Paramount enquired about filming on his Official Set Tour but nothing ever came of it. I'm guessing the last scene of the last episode will be on that TOS bridge. After bringing back the Enterprise-D they won't be able to help themselves.
Yes, implying the trekverse was actually different from what we saw in TOS/TNG before the "interference" we saw with the sulibans and the future guy, and the sphere builders.... What it was like...we will never know. For all we know, Picard, the D and the Voyager's journey through the Delta Quadrant never happened the first time around.Enterprise season 1 and that particular episode of snw has both gone out of their way to point out that things are happening differently now. It explains and gives you a reason for everything we have to complain about. Why people are so dead set against the concept baffles me when it is baked into the narrative.
I will make this easy.If one wants it to all be one timeline, then they should treat it as such. If one sees it as a multiverse, then they should treat it as such. The only important question should be around if the stories are entertaining.
No, I don’t care what CBS or current creators on the show think, as none of them worked on TOS.
Star Trek is supposed to be fun.
I will make this easy.
TOS > TAS > 6 TOS films > TNG > 4 TNG films
DS9 - began during TNG's 6th season
VOY - began during DS9's 3rd season
ENT - franchise prequel - "the beginning"
Reboot: trilogy of films
DIS - ignoring the reboot trilogy, but borrowing production styles, 10 years before TOS
ST - companion show to Disco
PIC - 20 years after Nemesis
LD - following Nemesis, "4th series" to TNG-DS9-VOY 90's Trek
PRO - 5 years after Voyager's homecoming
SNW - following Disco S2 and setting up TOS
S31 - What happened to Georgiou? Seems she dropped into the 2330's instead of the 2250's.
Continuity can be sloppy at times, but we've basically only got 2 continuities.
Continuity #1 - All TV shows, first 10 movies + upcoming streaming movie
Continuity #2 - Movies 11-13
It's not my opinion, it's an objective truth. If that’s how you see it, then roll with it.
Indeed. Entertainment is the goal, and creating barriers to entertainment seems like too much like work.If that’s how you see it, then roll with it.
Objectively evaluating what story connects to what story isn't a "barrier" thing.Indeed. Entertainment is the goal, and creating barriers to entertainment seems like too much like work.
Star Trek ended in 1969.I agree 100%. If you’re going to make a show that purportedly takes place in the same time period and continuity as another show, then you should make it look like that other show. Not something that looks completely different and justify it by saying that it’s just a fictional dramatization of the former show.
By what objective? Experiencing entertainment is far more subjective than objective to me.Objectively evaluating what story connects to what story isn't a "barrier" thing.
Need my helmet!
Doesn't look any worse than those goofy anbo-jyutsu helmets seen in TNG and Lower DecksNeed my helmet!

In order to view something objectively the objective standard must be established.I said objectively, not "an" objective.
