Is it still showing where YOU live?

IMAX here has extended its run through the 29th of July--checking the online ticketing, they have 86 reserved seats sold by 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. showing. Should easily draw 100-140 people when all is said and done.

Nicely done, Star Trek...! :)

That is just nuts! I like it!

Really unbelievable... actually according to the website, 129 reserved seats sold for tonight's showing, not sure if that includes walk-ins...

Not only does this speak well of this film, but bodes extremely well for the next.

Provided it is done well, of course. :D

So, is it too early for it to start showing up in second run theaters?

I know the one up north of me is going to show it since they have the ST movie stand up display thingie in their lobby.

It's gone now :( It had gone down to one theater last week but now it's done.

Terminator, X-Men and Night at the Museum are all playing at the dollar cinema now.

In my city, it's only showing at the $3 second-run theatre. It started in that theatre over a week ago, right when it left all the major multiplexes in town. This Friday it was joined by X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Terminator Salvation. Currently, there are three showings per day.

In Toronto, which I'm just outside of, there are four theatres still showing Star Trek, and I believe they're all mainstream, first-run cinemas.

I'm pleased to report that its STILL at my theater!

And I went and saw it again for the 9th time last night. The theater was pretty packed, near sold out I'd say.

Unfortunately ticket sales weren't that high tonight. I still get a little giddy when I sell tickets for Trek though.

Yay! A little country independent cinema, not too far from me, has "Star Trek" for this week only - and I've just lined up an email penpal to come and see it with me!

I have to travel up by train from Sydney's outer suburbs - and it'll be the first time we've met in real life, after corresponding for over ten years!

For me this will be viewing #6!

angels and demons is already at the cheap theatre. star trek is still on two of the regular theatres.
there are two big chains in town,., carmike and regal.
regal just keeps it at the biggest multiplex while carmike keeps on moving it around to different parts of town.

Man, my friend had to cancel on seeing it today. :( That sucks, but I told her we could go see it for about $2 if we wait 'till it makes it to the second run theaters.

Sounds like a wonderful meet-up opportunity! Hope you have fun.

Still showing at about 3 first run theaters in Indianapolis but I suspect it will be in the second run theaters very soon.

Down to one English language cinema, but with a full slate of 4-5 (late night on weekends) showings.

It's gone here... AND I ONLY SAW IT FIVE TIMES!!!:wah:

Wish I could have seen it one more time on the big screen.
