Is it still showing where YOU live?

Harry Potter is sold out at 3 midnight showings... I think I'll celebrate that tomorrow by going to the IMAX for the 8 p.m. Star Trek.

It's run has been extended for a week, so why not?

Starting Thursday it will only being showing twice a day, but it's in one of those massive 20 screen with IMAX complexes. It's 1/2 an hour away.

Tonight (Tuesday the 14th) was apparently the last day for it in the theatre my friends and I go to movies at...not where I live exactly about an hour from here.

I planned to see it too for its last showing and it all went wrong...I went over a couple of hours early to get a few things since I was going to see it anyway. I got to best buy to find it closing and when I came back to my car I had a flat tire, so I went over to wal-mart and got some fix-a-flat...which the first can exploded. Ok instead of shooting thru the tube into the tire it splattered out right at the can...after taking a good while exchanging it, it didn't fill up my tire very much at all so went to the closest station with air. The air machine was in the corner of the lot blocked by a tanker refilling the gas...so had to find another down the road. Now before all this happened my cell phone of course had to die. When it finally seemed as though my tire was going to hold I got to the theatre which was pretty busy, guess it turns out harry potter was starting...

As a result even though still listed online as when I left for the theatre the last showing was at 10:25 I get there and the guy at the counter tells me they canceled it for adding another showing of harry potter... I had really hoped to see it one more time in the theatre.

So I guess the answer is NO, its not showing anymore here. :(

Tonight was the last showing anywhere within 50 miles so I skipped dinner and went.

Harry Potter is in seven theaters at midnight.

/signed/ 18 times and sorry to be done

It looked like today was going to be the last showings in my area, then it extended for another week. Yay! I don't know if I'll go again though, but I am glad to see that it's still in my neighborhood for awhile longer!

Boy were the stars aligned against you that night...

Not anymore.

But there are three other theaters with a 15 to 20 mile radius that have a few airings each day.

Yes, it is still showing in one of the bigger cinemas in the city... but this week it's only once a day, at 11 a.m.

It's still showing at Chinese theater in Hollywood. So those of you dudes who want to help California's economy, come on over.

It's no longer showing in any of our regular theaters here, but it is now playing on our IMAX screen and that's like a big deal here since they never play anything other than educational films. The local talk radio station was giving away some free tickets to it the other day (which I didn't get bc it was down through Twitter and I don't tweet lol).

But I do plan to make this rare IMAX showing my lucky seventh time! :D (Not sure when exactly I'll get to go, but hopefully within a couple of days, and to be honest I'm more excited about this than the new Potter film lol).
