Is it still showing where YOU live?

It's playing at a place over in Florence, Kentucky called the Danberry. I went with my wife to see Ghosts of Girlfriends' Past there. The experience was so awful I refuse to go back for Star Trek. I just downloaded the version that is floating around out there until the Blu-Ray comes out.

I sat in an icky, musty dollar theater this afternoon to watch a horribly scratched-up version, because I just had to see it again. So it wasn't my usual Grade-A crack, but it fed the monkey on my back nonetheless...

I'm driving my husband crazy bugging him to find a copy for me; he says he can't find it anywhere. Oh well, hopefully it'll be on cable On-Demand next month, since I saw in another thread that it's already showing up on Time-Warner OD in NYC.

How much is it likely going to cost on DirecTV ppv? MVRojo was saying it cost $15 on hotel services.

Don't go! I posted this a few pages back and it was from the Danbarry in Florence:

Here in Cincinnati, it's at all four dollar saver theaters ($3 cash) 4x a day - but the quality goes way down - at one showing the few seconds of George Kirk's death was "hiccuped" over...

But if you get up to Dayton, OH around the mall THAT Danbarry is much better (or at least ST was).

:guffaw: The place was a total dump. My bootleg is probably better quality!

It is showing at the second run theater in Charleston, IL. I was going to go, but then I learned Eastern Illinois University (in Charleston) was showing it for free yesterday and today, so, being a grad student there, I went both times and saved myself a few bucks!

Its not showing regular theaters where I live anymore. But there is a movie theater that is only about 10min or less away from where I live. And theater it only cost about around $1.00 or so to see a movie. I saw poster for the movie posted there, so I asume it will be playing there pretty soon. That theaters only shows movies that is getting ready to be released to dvd. So since the movie is gonna be released on dvd and blu ray on November 17th, it should showing at that $1.00 movie theater here pretty soon. That theater is so close that its tempting me to see the movie again. I already seen the movie 8 times in regular theaters, and now this theater its only gonna be around a $1 to see it. I'm so tempted to see it again, espically since its cheap and so close. But I'm wondering if I should just hold off until I can buy the movie, or just go see it? So many choices so hard to make a desion.

Yeah, you get what you pay for! :p All of the Danbarry Dollar Savers are minimal at best, dumps at worst... I would rank the ones I've been to as follows with 1 being best to 4 being the worst for overall experience:

1. Dayton Mall
2. Eastgate Mall
3. Florence Mall
4. Cincinnati Mills

I haven't been to the Glenway (Cincinnati) or Huber Heights (Dayton) Danbarrys...

Its at the $1.25 theatre where I live. The first 20 minutes are low, kinda muted and has a weird sound on it, but then it clears and is fine. I'm going Saturday, since I have a 3 day weekend yay!

Still playing in three Indy $2 theaters. The print at the Cinemark in Greenwood was pretty good, don't know about their east side locations. The sound was a little lower than I like for this fils, but clear.

The Georgetown Theater has a wonderful print no scratches - and excellent sound on a wide screen plus a popcorn/drink special for $3. It was great.

OMG my local theatre is bringing it back to the IMAX screen for a limited return engage engagement. Instead of the crappy dollar show, I may see this one again. It is better suited to IMAX.

There's a couple "near" me that are also bringing it back in IMAX.

i can't believe that $1 and $2 cinemas exist. we don't have that here - cost me $18 to see it.

up until 2 weeks ago It was being shown at 15.45 every Thursday-Monday but that has stopped not bad for it at all and this in the UK
