... did most of the new TV shows this season suck? No good newcomers compared to last season, like Human Target.

There's Rubicon. That's pretty much the best of the bunch, IMHO.
Blue Bloods is OK, but that's mostly because I adore Tom Selleck.
But nothing else new this season has interested me at all.

It's all in the eye of the beholder, as I've thought it's been a very good crop of new shows.
Blue Bloods, The Defenders, Detroit 1-8-7 are 3 very good shows IMHO. Also enjoying Shat My Dad Says and Mike and Molly. No Ordinary Family is okay too.
But as the cliche goes, your mileage may vary.

Yes, this is the worst year for new shows I can remember - NONE of the new shows are worth watching at all. However, the buzz is still good for The Walking Dead.
I personally think "Running Wilde" is hilarious.
Other than that, I haven't even given another show a watch.
I watch too many ongoing series as it is, I can't be bothered at the moment to start something new.
