Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It is Trump as advertised. He is doing exactly what he said he would do during the campaign. This is why people who voted against him feared him and why people who voted for him revered him.

Leaders with semifacistic, narcissitic tendencies are to be feared. Those folks who voted for him need to have a conversation with their ancestors who fought in world war 2.

The comparisons to Hitler are extreme. Respecting borders and suspending immigration from specified countries is nothing new. Even Jimmy Carter suspended immigration from Iran after the Iran hostage crisis.

US agencies state the biggest threat from the last 20 years to the USA came from Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan. None of the citizens on the banned list have attacked on US soil. However Middle Eastern nations that have attacked on USA also have business dealings with Mr Trump. Saudi should be at the top of the list. The list is fooling Trump supporters to think he is doing something that will be effective. And his sleight of hand politics is working.
Jimmy Carter dealt with a real threat that took place and acted accordingly. He did not ban Muslims from nations that had never attacked the USA. If Mr Trump really wanted to protect the USA from Muslim extremists he would choose nations that have been a threat to the USA. The attackers of the Twin Towers were from Saudi not Yemen, Somalia, Sudan etc
As long as Mr Trump has Mr Steve Banner, a white supremacist, as one of his right hand staff, then the Nazi comparison is more than valid. This is creeping fascism American style, and its working.

True except Trump's ban list isn't from countries that have citizens who have attacked us eg: saudi arabia. Once again oil won.

In this case plus hotels and golf courses won. No one is going to mess with the Saudis, they produce the majority of our oil. We need alternative energy, to stop this dependence on Middle Eastern despots to run our homes and cars.

The administration is siting different justification for choosing those 7 countries.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/29/politics/how-the-trump-administration-chose-the-7-countries/index.html

Allegedly, the 7 countries with immigration bans have terror training camps today.

We began extracting oil from Iraq after the second Gulf war, so oil was obviously not a consideration in the Iraq immigration ban.

Does it matter if they have produced terrorists that have already attacked us "on U.S. soil" versus posing a threat abroad?

While Steve Bannon has been labelled a "white supremacist" by certain media outlets, he denies this label.

They would say that wouldn't they, this is the administration of alternative facts...where do you think any money for training is coming from? (cough cough Saudi)
As for Steve Bannon - his actions speak louder than his denials.

When people show you who they are...believe them.
I wish the White House would dare to ban all Muslims, go on piss off the Saudis, please do.

We were getting oil from Iraq long before that.

My point being that Iraq having been a source of oil for the U.S. didn't stop Trump from suspending immigration from that country. An indicator that the oil business is not a sole consideration.

MAN: Our sea floor mining project is almost ready to go into operation. The Pan-Caribbean government did have some misgivings, but I think we've won them over. I hear you just came back from Christchurch?
CHRIS: Yes. Did a little skiing on Mount Cook.
WOMAN: You're lucky. We had to cancel our trip to the Alps this year because of the student protests in France.
CHRIS: I thought the Neo-Trotskyists were going to put a stop to that.
WOMAN: They're not having any more luck that the Gaullists did.
MAN: Europe is falling apart.
WOMAN: Well, at least we don't have to worry about that kind of thing here.
DAX: Don't count on it.

There's Brexit.

Sean Spicer already has the Baghdad Bob alternative facts Press Secretary job, ichab. You can quit auditioning for it now.

Other posters already have the bitter, angry petulant child act covered. You can stop acting like one any day now and stop attacking posters you disagree with. It's very unbecoming of a moderator.
