Intrepid Updates

This is the only fan series that does not suck.
I loved the actors.
I loved the amazing CGI.
I loved the Stories.
I loved the USS Intrepid
I love the cute English accents makes the guys so hot :P

It must be very hard work,i hope you are all well and thank you for the entertainment and keeping Trek alive.

It is amusing to see Star Trek with all actors (including a Vulcan) who speak with an English accent. I know you guys think WE are the ones with the accent! :-)

Keep up the good work.

Alec

Nick, one of these days you should include a Geordie or two to really freak out the viewers outside the UK. ;)

We've a couple of English folks too. Including me. :)

And thanks folks for the kind words. :)

For what it's worth, The Stone Unturned will be out this Spring. When is Spring, I can't say yet. We are also going to try and get a second episode out this year, but that may be pushing it. We'll see. :)

Just to let folks know, the Intrepid website was hacked again. I'm currently in the process of migrating the site to a new host so we'll likely have a week or so of downtime.

Obviously, someone has just enough knowledge to be dangerous and enough time on their hands to put it to work...

Our service provider just has poor security. Seems quite a number of their clients have been hacked in similar fashion. We're in the process of transferring everything to a new provider, so should have at least some service back up by next week. :)

As it stands, we currently have a basic holding page up while we rebuild the site. It's not much, but we do at least have a presence back again. :)

Thanks to webmaster Michael Hudson, the Intrepid website is now back up. There are still some broken links, and we'll probably spend the next few weeks or longer polishing things up a bit, but for now we're back. :)

The IP thread reminded me of this. A few years ago, a company called Duke Video interviewed us for a straight to DVD documentary called A Trekker's Guide. It was supposed to be a guide to Star Trek fans, but actually ended up being mostly about our fanfilm. It's predictably cheap, and I have a sneaking suspicion it didn't sell very well. I imagine anyone who bought it would have been somewhat disappointed. :)

I actually bought this a while back. It's how I first found about Intrepid. It only cost me 5 bucks, so I wasn't dissapointed. I think it's still on a shelf somewhere, might give it a rewatch... :D

Wow, you're that guy from the DVD! Are you telling me you don't get that a lot? :)

I actually bought it only because the cover mentioned something about fan films. I still see it in stores all the time. I don't think it's flying off the shelves...

I've never seen it on the stores myself. But yeah, I'd be very surprised if it was flying off the shelves. It really isn't what it advertises itself as either. But if you want a very cheap documentary piece on team Intrepid, then you're laughing. ;)

When I first saw it on the shelf, my thought was 'Trekkies ripoff' and I already own those. I didn't have high hopes when I started watching it, but the Intrepid stuff was interesting. And you guys sounded almost like pros, even back then...
