having Shinzon aged so that Stewart could play the role would have been very interesting. but then if we're going that route i'd rather it be a Mirror Picard instead of a clone. drop Shinzon, B4 and the Romulans and just do a Mirror Universe movie.

Yes. MU Riker was actually the Riker we saw in the first season of TNG, but he was replaced by OU Riker midseason, only to finally return and exact his revenge in Insurrection. We're still trying to figure out how OU Riker managed to thwart him once again between INS and NEM.
