We just aren't going to agree on this, because I'm willing to accept Abrams' desire for secrecy and you aren't. It's 10+ months until the film opens, and between now and then there will be more interviews with the cast -- even if they're promoting other movies (Cho, for one, has Harold & Kumar Go to Guantanamo coming out this summer), the discussion will inevitably turn to Star Trek. There will inevitably be set photos and publicity photos, and a trailer that gives us an inkling of what the plot will be about.AudioBridge said:
On topic, don't you think it would only help to have more engaged marketing for this film start about now? They've been good about engaging the fans online, so now how about some online mini-documentaries, cast/crew interviews, etc?
But until then, it's a long way from here to Christmas, and there's a lot of other movies that will be coming out between now and then, so it's not like you're going to "starve" while waiting for your Star Trek "meal," unless you really have no plans to "eat" until December.
