i'm SO geeky....

I'm also so geeky that I am currently playing 23 Scrabble games online, and winning 22 of them.

I'm so geeky, I'm thinking of taking a holiday to North America and Canada just so that I can play online Scrabble. :D
If you come to NYC, we can play in person!

I'm so geeky I own four Scrabble boards: 1 classic Scrabble, 1 Super Scrabble, 1 travel Scrabble, and a 2nd Travel Scrabble that I keep in the Manhattan just in case I need it. And I'm so geeky I've needed it several times. :)

I'm so geeky, that...I swear I am not making this up...the first time I learned how to ride the New York subway, I was so pleased with myself that I did pretty much nothing the rest of the day but just ride around to random destinations. I would call my dad at home whenever I got to a station and I'd say "Hey Dad, guess where I am now? I'm at...hang on...West 4th Street!" :D
I once did that with the DC metro. It got me to stations I never had visited before then, and since. It took a long while. It was for a paper for class years ago.

I just do it for kicks. I've done it in New York, Boston, D.C., and St. Louis. Will do it in Minneapolis in about a month (gotta see Target Field) and Chicago next year.

We only have the two sets of Scrabble: a standard board which is almost as old as me, and an ornamental rotating wooden-frame version with metal-plated tiles and full OSW book which we bought by mail order about 18 years ago. Not so much geeky as hubristic, perhaps.

I prefer the classic board - it saved our sanity when the TV broke in 1992. :bolian:

I did that with the L.A. freeway system when I got my first car. Just drove around trying to hit every interchange. Of course, that was back when gas was 35 cents a gallon.

I'm so geeky, I have two different Monopoly boards - one is Indiana Jones-themed, the other is Superman Returns-themed. And I want to get the Star Trek-themed one next.

:D

I'm so geeky...

...that I went to see Star Wars in Concert last night. And it wast he second time I've been to see it. :)

I'm so geeky that when I went to see Star Wars on Concert last might I was sending pictures to my friend to PROVE how geeky I am.

I'm so geeky that I'm actually JEALOUS that you have an Indiana Jones Monopoly!

Well, the one time I've gathered folks to play it, I think I used the whip...it was what was left. Since I was the host, I let the others pick their's first.

I also have the Indiana Jones-themed Game of Life...but it isn't as fun as the regular Life.

That's hilarious!

I'm so geeky that when my kitty hisses at my dog, it reminds me of Darth Vadar and I start doing the 'Vadar breathing' and telling my dog I am his father.

I guess I'm so geeky that when my 13yr old sees a toy phaser in the store he elbows me in the side and says knowingly, "I know who wants that for Christmas!"

Funny! I was grousing the other day about a lack of a Star Trek Day and my 21 year old reminded me every day is Star Trek Day for me!

Love your new Av *OPALI!*
