I'm in the mood for Seska!

I love Voyager the series, I own all the DVD's and watch them semi-frequently.(I get home to late from work to catch them on SPIKE and why DVD spend the obscene amount of cash on the DVD's if I'm not going to watch them?)

With that said, I will admit however I don't watch many eps. from season 1 & 2, so my memory is a little rusty when it comes to those seasons.

Well, here's my main question: I'm in the mood to watch a good ep. involving Seska. What would you guys recommend as a good choice?

I recommend the 1st Season episode "State of Flux," where Seska is unmasked as a Cardassian spy.

Seska: "If this had been a Cardassian ship, we would be home now."

How about season 3's "Worst Case Scenario" with evil holo-Seska? :D

yeah that's a good one.

the other one where the ship gets fractured into different time zones and Seska's in there fomenting a Kazon takeover is pretty decent too.

actually I think all the "Seska" shows are pretty good.

Any episode with Seska in it is a good one, imo. Even those like "Prime Factors" where you didn't know she was a Cardassian are a treat to watch. I have to wonder if the actress knew from the start she was going to end up a villain - she played that crew like a violin! ;)

"Shattered", one of my personal favorites because it's also a great Voyager "catch up" ep.

Ok folks, I did watch "State of Flux". Wow, I had forgotten how good that one was!!!! Seska was totally wicked. If Cardassians resemble snakes, she did them proud!

"Prime Factors" is what I think I'll watch tonight(I watch one ep. of Trek before bedtime)with glass of milk and cookies. :D I can't even remember what that ones about now.

"WCS" I'm saving for last. That's one of my personal favorites too.

What's the name of the ep. where Paris defects and gets captured by the Kazon?

Thanks. :D

Ok, I rewatched "Prime Factors" last night.

I remember the ep. now, sorry but I never liked that one at all. I find Janeway too much of a pompous hypocrite and a bad diplomat. She becomes belligerent toward the natives of this planet because they hold the same type of rules as the Prime Directive and won't share technology with her for the same reasons she didn't give technology to the Kazon. I think it paints Janeway in a bad light and a good reason why some found her behavior erratic.

I think her "belligerence" was due to the fact the leader was stringing her along because he wanted an affair with her. She seemed to understand their "prime directive" but at the same time felt bad for her crew. She was definately conflicted in this episode which I found interesting.

I don't know, I always take issue with Janeway when it comes to stuff like this.

She has no quams telling others "No" and putting her nose in the air but when the tables are turned and she is told "No" in return, suddenly she wants to be all about the attitude and the fighting. I sometimes only find Janeway diplomatic when it's in her favor. I often wonder how someone with her stubborn steak became Captain.

Actually the whole point of the episode was that she WASN'T fighting - that's why Tuvok, B'Elanna, Seska and Carey tried to get the technology themselves.

Yes, she did fight with the leader but that wasn't about the technology - that was about him pretending he would help so he could string her along long enough to seduce her.

Trust me, I got the ep. I still don't like it.

However, I do thank you for suggesting it.
If anything, it did give us something to talk about. :D
