Actually, I think Worf would have been quick enough to kill Picard before one of the humans phasered a glowing hole in his chest.

Maybe. Either way, a fun scene.

Actually, I think Worf would have been quick enough to kill Picard before one of the humans phasered a glowing hole in his chest.

I have no trouble accepting this level of badassery from Worf. He can kill quickly with his bare hands, such as his admittedly rather hilarious neck-break of Weyoun in DS9's final arc.

This was a good scene from FC, it was nice to see some sparks fly between TNG characters for a change.

Besides, I think we can assume that there is an unspoken "or die trying" clause to any statement of Klingon bravado such as this.
