If you were a part of Voyager's crew when they got back...

Truthfully, I'd be pretty bummed out that it was all over. I'd probably get my own space fighter and head back out into the unknown. Which, come to think of it, I wonder how that would work? Since there's no money, how do you get your own ship? Just, "I want my own ship" or what?

that's something i've always wondered about. What if you don't join starfleet, what do you do? Since there's no money you don't have to have a job, you have your own replicator for food. How do you get housing? Do you just walk up to an apartment building and say I want an apartment?

I'd probably take some time off, but really, Voyager wasn't gone that long. The 1701-D on was out for just as long (admitingly they could go home if they wanted.) The NX-01 was out for 10 years.

So after vacation, I'd be waiting for my next assignment from Starfleet.

I'd go home, take a sabbatical for 6 months to a year, just to get readjusted, then I'd call in a favor from Admiral Janeway to get me posted on the Enterprise. Hehe

I'd cry like a friggen baby........

Then ask when the next adventure starts?!

I'd hug Janeway for getting us home. I know a lot of people don't like her but she did get her crew home while still maintaining most of her morals. I admire her, she didn't have an easy job but she succeeded.

Sometimes I try to imagine myself in the position of the Voyager crew, wondering how I'd feel, who would I have left behind? It would be incredibly hard to be away for 7 years from the ones I love. I'd try to do what they all did and just do my job to the best of my ability so I could go home sooner.

Depends on if I had been Starfleet or Maquis.

I I had been Starfleet, I may probably have kissed the ground after embarking, then I would have visited relatives, friends and such and had a long vacation.

If I'd been Maquis, I would have persuaded Janeway, or more likely Chakotay to give me a shuttle before the arrival to Earth. Then I would have left for some obscure planet and waited there until I've got a message that the Maquis had been paroled.

Ten I would have contacted Janeway or Chakotay and asked; "Well, when do we go back to the Delta Quadrant? I miss the fun!"

The first thing I'd do would be to take a vacation with Chakotay and Ayala (also I'd sick a Klingon, 8472 and the Borg on anyone who tries to take them ... perhaps even the Q could get involved).
Then I'd probably be back to duty after a month or so developing new technologies, designing a new class of ship and just head out again to explore.

Also, Temporal Investigations did exist in the late 24th century.
It's just that a person was held accountable for possible future crimes by the 29th century.
I found the concept of apprehending Braxton for crimes he was going to commit a bit problematic, because his 29th century 'good self' hasn't done anything yet.
And it remained to be seen if he would actually do something in the future as the past was altered if I'm not mistaken.
Then again, it's possible that Braxton was sent to rehabilitation due to his attempt to destroy Voyager and that for him it's bound to happen either way.

That always bothered me too.

Glad I'm not the only one who wants to take a vacation with Chakotay!!! Seriously, I'd be so thrilled to finally be home, that i'd grab him by the arm and go to a romantic beach somewhere..be my luck he wouldn't even go with me. :(

Heh! I'd file a report with Starfleet Temporal Investigations regarding Admiral Janeway's violations. Then, have Starfleet Medical investigate Captain Janeway's fitness to command in the future. If one version was willing to destroy an established timeline and lives that went with it...

Was Temporal Investigations even be around at that time? (Not that time would matter). Besides, if Admiral Janeway weren't meant to come back then Braxton & Co. would have interfered, imo.

Not that I'm a fan of "Endgame" but I'm just saying...

Yes. Temporal Investigations was an established branch of the Federation and seen in DS9's Trials and Tribbleations.

I'd take a time-out from Starfleet for as long as was necessary, then eventually get back out into space and make Captain :D

First, I'd obtain a time travel device and go back in time to when Voyager was being made, and shoot everyone at Paramount, because I got no character development at all.

Second, I'd get a transfer to Starfleet Command, and work in transporter research. Soon after, an incident would occur where all the female officers in my department would accidentally have all their clothes beamed one meter to the left.
