Interesting little survey. I couldn't think of a third show I currently watch that I would consider a favorite. I rated Discovery a 7, and I indicted that what I liked about Discovery was it's willingness to try new things, even if it falls on its ass doing so (I didn't state it like that on the survey). My favorite character was Saru, who I felt followed in the tradition of TOS Spock, Data, Odo, and the EMH as outside (or in the case of Spock, partially outside) observers on the human condition.
It's internal marketing. There are more chances of CBS releasing actual viewership numbers (which is to say virtually none) than some small survey.
At most, they might use the more positive comments in press releases or ads, but there's no way anything that suggests people think Discovery is less than the second coming will be put out publicly. This is going to be internal use only, and even then, I doubt it'll be used scientifically, just cherry-picked by different stakeholders to support their own positions.
The question was ambiguously phrased. I went with two classics and one current fave: TOS, TWILIGHT ZONE, and KILLING EVE.
That's about me in 1978.
Apparently it's a great idea. If they know about us, maybe they'll visit and get some fantastic ideas for the direction to take the franchise in.
