If You Love Disco (+ even if you don't) tell CBSAA!

So am I the only one who chose Burnham as their favorite character? I would have chosen differently a year ago, but she really grew on me this second season.

Also, I'm fascinated to know what others chose as their three favorite TV shows. I picked TNG, The Good Place, and Lost.

I would've chosen her if not for Tilly... Burnham I'm identifying with, but Tilly inspires me in a way no Trek character before could.

I wonder what they will do with me being a rabid 10-scoring Discovery fan gushing about how Tilly's sunny enthusiasm lights up any room she's in, together with me choosing Deep Space Nine, Babylon 5 and Game of Thrones as my favorite shows though...

Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, & Hell on Wheels. :techman:

I chose Georgiou, and said it's because she's a sexy badass. I *almost* picked Tilly, though - and given a real life choice, I would, because Phillipa is a scary lady. ;)

I went with Star Trek (all), Wonderfalls, and Gilmore Girls. Those are actually true but cherry picked from a larger pool of answers I could have given just to try to mess with their results. If next season features a very odd remake of "The Lorelai Signal", that's probably my fault. :D

Voted for Pike as favorite character.

Also listed trekmovie as the source for news, they have been the best at that for a long time. I remember the owner (Anthony) used to post here before he started trekmovie

I chose Burnham. I took the favourite TV shows as currently active, otherwise I would have had different choices. I chose Better Call Saul, The Blacklist, and Game of Thrones. Otherwise, I’d have chosen The Wire, Mad Men and The Wonder Years.

Oh well.

I too chose Burnham. I think it's impressive what they've done with the character, and S M-G is really the soul of this show for me.

I chose Spock. And when they asked why, I went into more detail than I expected. Ultrashort version: Relatable.

Legion, Titans and Star Trek.

TNG? I assumed it was just current TV shows. I picked Game of Thrones, Discovery, Curb your enthusiasm.

I was doing it, until I ran into a bit of a snag when they asked me if I would keep my CBS All Access subscription, which I said no to, and then they asked my why.

I don't have a CBS All Access subscription. As a Canadian, I don't need one since Disco airs on broadcast TV in Canada, on our Space channel. But I'm afraid if I tell them that it could sabotage things and result in Space losing Disco.

You could have done the same thing as I did: I lied.

I watch DIS through Netflix. Which has the benefit of me already paying for Netflix anyway. If I were American, I probably would have payed All Access once, to watch DIS in one swoop, and then decide what to do next. I'm such a Trekkie, I'll check out any new Trek series, longer than is probably reasonable, to give it a chance, even if I don't like it at first.

And while I really enjoyed watching DIS season 2 (I didn't really like season 1) - and I sometimes really enjoyed season 2! - I don't like it enough to pay for an entire subscription service just for it. But I would sign up to again to check out the first episodes of their other new Trek series - but probably drop them faster if I didn't like them right away either. That's pretty much what I told them.

I reread the question multiple times because I also thought maybe they meant to say just current shows, but they didn't specify.

I assumed it was three current. So I chose (in order):
Better Call Saul
Star Trek: Discovery
Orange Is the New Black

My Three relatively recent:

Black Sails
Man in the High Castle
12 Monkeys

Honestly, Discovery sits somewhere in my current top 20% of the shows I watch.
