Why are the Trek fans on the BBS so uncool? There are Trek Fans who DO write and would love to create stories! Be cool to them, give them a chance to bring stories to you! Just a good tip from this aspiring Screenwriter/Trek Fan!

I think the problem is that you choose the wrong forum for your ideas (as it was pointed out: The Future of Trek would be the right one) and that it seems as if you're just trying to boost the statistics of your blog. And this could very well be seen as spamming.

Seriously, why don't you just post your ideas in the Future of Trek forum?

If you're going to use past tense such as "thought", you should continue that in the rest of the statement. "I thought you guys were COOL!" as opposed to the current "I thought you guys are COOL!". Just a good tip from this self-admitted "grammar Nazi" so that your screenplays make sense!

marknetprod, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to close this, since things aren't going to well.

As for the thread I closed in GTD earlier, if you think it was unfair that I closed it, send me a private message and we can discuss it (if we can't work it out, there's a forum about 3/4 of the way down the main page called Moderator Actions. Start a thread there complaining about what I did and the rest of the staff can decide if I was wrong and they can fix the mistake).

Right now, you're just soliciting for people to see something away from the board, which is frowned upon. If you wish to be an active member of this community and participate in discussions, we'll gladly welcome you. But threads like this aren't helping.
