And leave it to the TrekBBS to jump down somebody's throat for a bad choice of words. At least we're consistent.
Oh, please. You were unclear and, I think, still a bit in the wrong regarding the way you're handling this situation.

Oh, good lord.
Job #1: I took it and have been working there for 2 weeks.
Job #2: I took it and will be starting it in 2 weeks.
Job #3: I had my second interview today, and if I get it, I won't start for over a month.
I don't know where I'm going to end up, but I'm not going to tell these places "Let me think about" when I might not have a solid decision for several weeks. If I don't get Job #3 and I waited too long to accept Job #2, I could end up screwing myself over.

I would suggest seeing a doctor right away.
One thing that I have learned throughout these interviews is that I am damn near unstoppable in a sweatervest.![]()
So they tried to promote you, and you quit?![]()
But for those of you criticizing RoJoHen, understand that there is no such thing as a "job offer" until you sign on the dotted line. Anything else is an empty promise, and it's not worth learning that the hard way. Second, he has every right to accept a job position and then accept a better one a month later-- but it can have consequences.
