I Miss....YOU!!!

Shows come and go. The last years, or get axed just as you start liking them. Other than a STAR TREK series, has there been a show that was dropped, or maybe it actually ended, but all these years later, you really do miss it?

Has to be a show that has been gone for at least five years to qualify...

Mine is The Nowhere Man. There have been a few threads that pop up every now and again about it, but I really liked that show.

I was in Basic Training at Ft Jackson when the show was canceled and I remember being very upset since I thought I'd never get to see it again. I never did get to see it, but I read alot of it on the internet to make up for it.

Fir... oh. :(

Anyway. I miss B5, Crusade.. sometimes I miss TNG or TOS. I already miss Dollhouse. I miss a lot of stuff that killed some good evenings. Missing it is just another way or remembering it.

There was a show in the 80s called MAXHEAD ROOM that I was into and got axed too early. A western I dearly loved, called How The West Was Won, was axed before its time.

The Middleman. I'd even shoot a cow with a howitzer if it meant bringing that show back.

Oh, so many... They could have done more Blakes 7, Sapphire and Steel, Star Cops, Bugs, The Sandbaggers; they never concluded The Tripods or Enemy at the Door.

My So-Called Life, hands-down.

Thanks to TV on DVD, I've discovered a lot of good shows that I missed the first time around, including Firefly, Deadwood, The Critic, and Freaks and Geeks, but since I didn't discover them while they were on, it wouldn't be fair to list them, too.

Space: Above and Beyond

Liked the show despite the flaws, hated the way it died and still go back and watch it on DVD-just wish there had been more episodes.

Wow! Haven't heard about Max Headroom in a long time. That was a TV show that started out as a Coke commercial, if I recall correctly. Max Headroom was also Berlingoff Rasmussen from the early TNG episode A Matter of Time.

I liked that show, but I don't remember too much about it.

Boomtown. I freaking loved that show. I still miss it eight years later, and it was only around for just over a season!

Darn...that was ALREADY eight years ago? That was a good show. Came on the heels of MEMENTO? I think it was too smart for its intended audience...

"Firefly"
"The Norm Show"
"Time Trax"
"7 Days"
"Angel"

(for cancelled too early)

Regular shows that ended, or might have been cacelled:
"Star Trek: The Next Generation"
"The Prisoner"
(original)
"Batman: The Animated Series" (how it was the first three seasons)
"NewsRadio"
"Qauntum Leap"
(if they had gotten a little darker and did more drama, as the final episode implied could have been a future path, the show clearly could have had more life in it)

I was really into "Undeclared" when it was on the air, but when it was cancelled I didn't even notice and I never watched it again or thought about it much until last year. I remember that at the time it would come on before "24" and I thought it had a better chance of surviving since "24" just sounded like a dumb gimmick to me, but the public decided otherwise.
