I'm sorry, I am being facetious. I know why you're saying that. He may well be a jerk, but certainly I do not KNOW that he is, and I wonder why everyone else "on the internet" seems certain of it.

Because he's known to have done some things people don't like, he's accused of doing some other things people really don't like, and he's the figurehead/scapegoat for almost every "bad" decision on middleTrek.

He's certainly made some calls I don't agree with, but as always a franchise needs a villain.

It’s apparently Berman who insisted female actors wear breast enhancing bras, stopped the idea of LGBT characters in its tracks and (in this case) refused to negotiate with Terri Farrell for a reduced Season 7.

I don’t think he’s a villain, but he’s got a string of dodgy decisions behind him as well as a whole host of people who are willing to state publicly that his decisions were at times… questionable.
