I felt like I was watching what Nemesis was dubbed in German and re-dubbed back into English! Very funny! :thumbsup:

The entire Nemsamess film was a joke... on us.

For example... the plot of the film.

The Romulans create a "clone" of Picard, then discard the plan, send Shinzon to a mine and mistreat him all over the place...Shinzon takes over, but is murderously pissed at Picard, whom he has never met and has done nothing to Shinzon INSTEAD of those that imprisoned and mistreated him and his Reman bretheran.

I don't know what Berman was thinking with this script... aside from the statement he made several times, stupidly in public... paraphrasing- Star Trek has a built in audience... they will go to see a Star Trek film... he didn't finish the sentence by saying "however absurd and nonsensical the storyline is".

Berman WAS RESPONSIBLE for some GREAT Star Trek... but in the end, he mistakenly thought that he could serve up pure crap with a Star Trek label and fans would just accept it.

He was wrong.
