Spoilers How will this season end?

The Overlord

Fleet Captain
Fleet Captain
So we are near the end of the season, how do think it will end? I think we are going to have one big show down with who ever ends being the final villain (either Lorca or Georgiou) and someone will make a heroic sacrifice (either Lorca or Ash Tyler) depending on who the villain and the big threat will either be a Terran invasion of the Prime Universe or the Mycelial network will almost be destroyed, destroying the universe or both. Lorca will die (either as a hero or villain) and Burnham will be forgiven for her past crimes due to saving the universe and will take over the Discovery.

I'm guessing Lorca kills Georgiou, then won't let Burnham leave. They escape. They make it back to our universe.

No idea where it goes from there besides probably wrapping up the Klingon war a bit.
I hope it's a complete surprise, the next arc. And I also want some classic Trek standalones as well.

I will be sad if Jason Isaac is departing from Discovery. Lorca is the best character in Discovery so far. And he's the first character that caught my interest in this show. I don't know if I can rage leave or nerd rage when it really happen. But I understand if Jason Isaac has another contract to chase.

I am copying and pasting predictions I posted in another thread. 3 episodes left:
episode 13 (What's Past is Prologue) will wrap up the MU arc.
episode 14 (The War Without, The War Within) will wrap up the Klingon war in PU. Tyler plays a big role somehow.
episode 15 (Will You Take My Hand?) will deal with the aftermath of these. Someone speculated that the title is about Stamets/Culber marriage. I am fine with that since it means Culber comes back.

I expect Lorca to die. It would be a pleasant surprise if he comes back as a regular next season. Though I rather he die than be a recurring villian. I expect Tyler to be back but he will have many Voq moments.

Lorca shows his love for Burnham by giving her 3 tribble eggs, they hatch and she becomes Burnerys Sporeborn of House Sarekeyan

Burnham will kill Lorca to save Georgiou and Georgiou, in gratitude, will let Discovery go.

...I find it hard to contemplate that Lorca is maneuvering a Terran Empire invasion of the Prime Universe, but it is entirely possible. I'm thinking the actor, Jason Isaacs, was one of those roles cast that was not gonna go forward, like Michelle Yeoh's Captain Philippa Georgiou. Forward as in episodic storylines. I have to agree though, I'm thinking Burnham will kill Lorca to save Georgiou. There's something between Burnham & Georgiou that I'm thinking will get exploited. I saw a twinkle.

I still don't see how the Klingon War can be wrapped up that fast. Though, on the other hand, I also didn't see how the Dominion War could be wrapped up that fast. So there we are.

I think Lorca will go out in a blaze of glory taking Georgiou with him.

Prime Jason Isaacs walks through a portal, turns to Lorca and says, "You suck at being the bad guy," grabs Georgiou's sword, and slices Lorca's head clean off.

My thought right now is that Rapp, Cruz and Isaacs are all out after this season. Lorca is evil and wins or loses -- it's kind of irrelevant, because the MU has to stay evil. Either way, he does not return to the PU. Stamets will use his super spore powers to do something important that gets them home and then transcend this mortal coil to rejoin Culber. I will be dissatisfied that Culber is not plain old dead, but the writers will tell us this is a fitting end to an epic love story.

Burnham, of course, is tremendously important and valiant and redeems herself. There will probably be some sort of parallel with her mutiny, but I don't care about her enough to think it through that much.

Would be interesting to see them go the opposite direction and have a Georgiou-obsessed Burnham throw in with the evil emperor against the freedom-fighting Lorca, but that's not going to happen.

Lorca is out of the picture. Whether this means he's been killed, taken the Imperial Throne, or brought back to be imprisoned by the Federation remains to be seen. Anyway, Saru is promoted to Captain, Michael is exonerated, has her rank restored, and becomes Discovery's XO. Tilly receives her commission and becomes the new science officer.

They have several arcs to close up.

I think Voq/Tyler will pay a big role in bringing and end to the PU Klingon war using information learned from the rebels in the MU.

Michael/Georgia will come to a head with Michael having to betray her captain again and this time kill her. We will learn the reason she is so important but I have no clue what that will be.

I will Saru will come full circle on criticizing Michael's actions by at some point having to go against what Lorca wants to do (and that may be in this next episode) and so learn better how things are not as black and white as he thought things were earlier in the season

Lorca I think in the end will be some kind of freedom fighter and not some power hungry villian and will return with discovery to the PU where michael will stand up for him.

Stamets is going to do something heroic to help the crew and then go off into the sunset.

The network will be destroyed and unusable anymore.
