Dear John, oh how I hate to write, Dear John what can I say? But my love for you is gone so I'm singing you this song. Dear John I've found another, "You'll like him John, he's your brother" ... Dear John.

I’d actually say that Trump’s child concentration camps are more offensive that anything Bee said. Ignoring that heinous act to focus on her is even more offensive because you’re trying to shift the anger away from a disgusting act. One is an insult and the other will go down in history books as one of the worst things Americans have done.

To be fair to Trump (I know, I'll start drinking now) Obama was the one that started it. Not to the same level, but he too had children in cages. This is how Trump won because Obama was a useless 80s republican that didn't do anything to help commoners for 8 years.

This isn't about political parties, it's about the the elite having one set of rule and order for themselves and the rest of us getting screwed.

But really it's the hypocrisy that gets me. Can't call someone a cunt, but you can grab them, aka molest and rape people, that's fine. Being gay is a sin, but molesting children is fine. For family values, so they several secret families, and then stick brown families in cages. Saying 'fuck Trump' during a stupid speech is just the worst thing ever, yet a congressman called Obama a liar during a State of the Union and that was fine. Must have been fine because Obama was just an ape / monkey and not the actual president of the USA. Oh, my bad, I didn't know he was black, that that was a racist slur, or maybe it was my meds.

Drop a rock on her, Wile E. Coyote style.

I would watch that, so there's automatically the pick-up of a viewer who would never bother with anything she's appeared in before.

Obama wasn't separating children from their parents and any attempt to confuse the issue is really just dismissing Trump's crimes against humanity. I really hate this move of when Trump's awful things are pointed out, someone has to say "well Obama did this..." as if that makes it okay, no both are bad. It's come out that Trump is only locking up children in an attempt to woe voters to support him. He believes that Americans are so racist that they want Hispanic children in cages and let's be honest, enough are that he'll get a decent amount of support. Maybe that won't be their biggest motivation to support him, but it doesn't make them turn away in disgust which is still awful and disgusting.

Trevor Noah got close to a point that's a little backward.

If Roe V Wade is overturned, then Evangelicals will stop voting for Republicans.

If evangelicals get what they want, then two things are going to happen, Evangelicals are going to stop voting, or stop being pressured to vote by the machine surrounding them... And the evangelical money stops being pumped into the republican party.

"if you strike me down now, I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."

That's absolutely true, but it's already happened. The GOP floundered as a national party after 1) They lost their Cold War defense issues and 2) The country as a whole moved away from them on the social issues - Pat Buchanan acknowledged some years ago that "we've lost the culture wars."

Trump is a non-repeating phenomenon, and he didn't get elected by taking principled stands on social issues that evangelicals could trust. But those working class folks love him as an individual for all kinds of reasons, and their piety just pipes down and rides in the back seat the same way it does most days other than Sunday morning.

Did Obama's lot really put children in cages too?

Also known as 'whataboutism', the go-to propaganda tool of Cult45ers & other assorted racist/homophobic/sexist filth.

But ANYhow....

Regarding the Roseanne reboot, how about they have a scene where she is walking down the street minding her own business and she is suddenly accosted by alt-right scumbags? This incident causes her to have a nervous breakdown/epiphany and she winds up in a state hospital. They could even call this particular episode 'Karma'!
Side note: I've never been a fan of Roseanne - the show nor the person - but I've got family & friends that enjoy her stuff. I've got sort of a theory regarding her downfall/descent into madness. After a few failures (career & personal), she seems to have abandoned her liberal/logical mindset for conspiracy lunacy, parroting everything from pizza parlor pedophilia nonsense to outright racist Obama/Fox 'news' insanity. You can almost trace her reprogramming back to roughly 5-10 years ago; did something tragic happen that sent her into the arms of raving madmen, or? A mental collapse? ...Maybe something to do with that dude she's with?
It's like Bill Maher said recently: "Roseanne, may I remind you of something? You're a PROGRESSIVE SOCIALIST, FFS!!"
Not any longer, apparently.

Not a chance. Hard to get reelected from a prison cell/Moscow safehouse.
;)

Also, to be fair & factual: He was never elected the first time around. He was implanted.
Hey I've seen the polls! Just go the opposite of what they say and that is what is going to happen :angryrazz:

Obama had some cages, but primarily what he did was monitored release.

He let the asylum seekers, and others, while they waited for a hearing to wander about monitored intermittently by human assets and electronically, or on their own recognizance where they reported into a clerk once a week, which cost the tax payer 7 dollars a day, per person.

Trump rolled that back in favour of tent city/abandoned wallmart(s) detention facilities which cost the tax payers 776 dollars a day, per person to maintain, because it's run like a jail, but with more graft.

The explanation for Obana's kids in cages was that they were unaccompanied minors. Children that made the crossing by themselves, or their parents died en route. This was a bad solution for dealing with a rare problem that happened now and then, while foster care plecement was being sorted out, that could take between hours and a few days to settle.

Trump on the other hand takes kids from their parents and puts those children in cages, and leaves them there. There's also confirmation that no one agency knows where all the children are, some of whom are preverbal, or where their corresponding adults are, and may never be reunited.

Obama solved a problem not so well.

Trump created a problem as best he could because he's trying to deter imaginary mass illegal migration that is not there.

The national guard that was sent to the border, is picking up litter.

They are bored waiting for the horde.
