How often do you watch TNG these days?

I watched the entire series again earlier this year because my wife had never seen it. It will probably be something I revisit in a few more years. There's something incredibly soothing about watching an episode.
I watch DSC and PIC a lot less often than I do TNG. It's not my least-watched of the post-'70s Trek series by a stretch but I find myself watching DS9 a lot more often and even ENT depending on the season.
It's not just that but people seem to forget conflict is were comedy comes from and to top it off it's what makes characters feel like family. It's why Kirk/Spock/Bones are basically brothers. They don't always agree and even sometimes get angry. Same with Odo/Quark and Janeway/Seven or O'Brien/Bashir and I could keep giving examples. TNG is something were the characters don't treat each like family but more like co-workers who get along swell. It's just a good thing the actors loved being around each other because they really forged most of those character bonds because it wasn't always in the writing. It's also why when you think of great characters duo's you almost never go to TNG.

In the middle of my third full rewatch. It's somewhat comforting in this time of pandemic and other craziness to spend time soaked in a vision of relative peace and harmony.
I very occasionally pick up on something I didn't before. I remembered Geordi getting rejected by a woman he tries to woo on the holodeck with a beach program. But I didn't realize till just now that he circled around and won her over in a subsequent episode.

I am in a middle of a full rewatch, don't think I have seen them all since the first run on British TV. I have caught lots of episodes in reruns but never the whole series. I have all the shows on Blu-ray or DVD and have created my own little Star Trek nirvana buy ripping them and putting on a server so I get the Netflix experience with the full quality of disc.
I plan to probably just keep rotating through the shows watching them all over again is a pure joy, I am also watching TOS and DIS (in preparation for S3).
I do find all the 90s Trek gives me this warm fuzzy safe feeling, well except if the next episode is Lwaxana Troi as a guest then it can take me weeks to work up the enthusiasm.

I would like to watch TNG every day but I don't want to learn the episodes inside out.
I use to joke that I wish someone would hit me in the head with a baseball bat so I would forget all the episodes so I could watch them like it was the first time. Granted I think I think such a thing would not end up working out that way for me if it happened.

For the first time.... maybe? Somehow it's kind of nice to remember something about the episodes, it's nice to know what kind of awesome stuff is coming up.

I've just finished the last episode of season three and what a scorcher it was!!!! Captain Picard has been forcibly changed into Locutus of Borg!!!! The Borg prepare to attack the centre of the Federation, the earth itself and a fleet of ships, along with Klingon vessels and even Romulan craft (I believe) wait to defend the entire galaxy from the machine tyrants!!!
The second part I remember was just as good as the first and the events of the next episode will be felt in TNG for many years and also in DS9 and VOY!!!!

Now that I finished a complete re-watch of TNG, I'm in the midst of watching/re-watching TOS, DS9, and VOY. I'm also watching Lower Decks, so that hasn't left me a lot of time for re-re-watching TNG. Once I get through those other series I'll definitely circle back around to my favorite Trek franchise.
I totally agree with the sentiment of trying to find something more relaxing and de-stressing to watch as I get older.
Same thing happening with my musical tastes as well. I listen to less and less metal, rap, punk, etc. Would rather listen to hippy jam, classical, or feel good classic rock.
While popular shows over the last decade+ like Game of Thrones, Witcher, The Boys, Westworld, Breaking Bad, etc are all quality shows....they don't exactly leave you feeling good either.
With that being said and going back to the original question, I am marathoning TNG for the first time currently. I grew up with it coming on TV and watched almost every episode mostly through syndication in the 90's but also undoubtedly missed a few. I like the "warm blanket" sentiment. Especially in the crazy year that is 2020 TNG is a nice relaxing show to end the day with.

I pick and choose episodes from TNG, DS9 and VOY. TOS is my go-to series. Of the aforementioned three, probably TNG the most, as the episodes are by and large self-contained. TNG is the series I probably have the most escapism with.

I am watching it as I type. It's nice to have on in the background if I don't want to have to think or pay close attention. That's not a criticism, it's just very familiar to me as I've watched it so much.
Yes, that's how I usually enjoy TNG these days. It's good to have on for the "company."
I've been binging the first three-four seasons on PlutoTV almost daily for the last few months and occasionally watching a few later episodes on Netflix, especially ones I hadn't seen before like "Imaginary Friend" and "The Pefect Mate".
