I think a better question would be, for those marking 11+, how many of those were drunken one-night stands?
Drunken one night stands still count. For the record, paying for it also counts.

Of my three, one was a girlfriend, one was a girl I was dating that never developed into a relationship, and the third was a drunk thing.

The ones that I listed separately because what happened may or may not have been considered sex, half of them were one-time drunk things and the other half were multiple-time drunk things.

11+ (actual number I'd have to sit down with a pencil and paper to calculate, but I'm guessing it's in the range of about 15), and I'm perfectly okay with all of them except for one very notable exception.

A couple of them I probably should have kept at just sex (should have gone the 'friends with benefits' route), and skipped the heavy-duty relationship, since a couple of them turned out to be much better in bed than in a relationship.

But in terms of the specific guys I've slept with, I don't think sleeping with any of them except for one was a 'mistake'. Getting 'involved' with them might have been. But sleeping with them - no.

The one notable exception was a guy who turned out to be positively terrifying, in a number of ways. Serious drug & alcohol problems arose and...well....let's just say that the involvement of law enforcement was required to get him to leave me alone.

Other than that one guy, I have no regrets about the decision to sleep with anyone. Have more regrets about the decision to get 'involved' with them.

Do you like rum and coke?

;)

You can easily get quite drunk and remember the night. The only way you don't remember is if you are prone to black outs, which not everyone is (and if you are you most likely have a substance abuse problem).

Yeah, I've been really sauced during some (okay, most) of my sexual encounters, and I've never had any trouble remembering what happened the following day. Sometimes a few of the details are a little fuzzy -- I don't always remember clearly what they looked like, for example, but on occasion, that's not necessarily a bad thing. ;)

Given all the Casanova's here, I was embarrassed to post, but then I realized the number of partners doesn't necessarily relate to the frequency of times.

Four. All in relationships, with no fill-in-the-blanks in between.

I lost my virginity comparatively late to the average (I was 20, a sophomore in college) in my first relationship. That one lasted until I was a senior. We parted amicably.

The second was my first year in graduate school with an older woman. It was very much one of those Bob Seger things (I used her, and she used me, but neither one cared. We were getting our share). That one ended amicably, too.

The third one hurt. Third year of graduate school. She was very pretty, intelligent, and made me laugh. She also had some emotional issues about commitment (and other things). She dumped me out of nowhere after six months. It took me about that long to get over it.

I married the fourth one. So, I've "been with" one woman for 23 years, now. It's been good.

None, and have no problem with it. I've waited this long I would like it to mean something.

Sometimes I feel a bit weird about it since a lot of my friends are married with kids, but it will happen when it happens.

I'm a weak willed, insecure little whore. I make up for it by having a magnificent personality and an autographed picture of Leonard Nimoy.

:guffaw:

Yet another coffee-spewing post in this thread.

My God, that's funny.

:techman:

I think what's sad/hilarious is that it's all true. :D

11+

Not ridiculously more than that but I'm not going to say exactly since my girlfriend will probably read it and at the moment I'm having a hard time remembering which lies I've told ;)

One. Generally speaking, I'd be interested in experiences with other people BUT I am very happy in my relationship so I actually hope that I won't ever sleep with anyone else.

I hope this makes sense.

11 plus. I'm not quite sure. Due to some substance abuse in my teenage past, it's all a bit hazy. But if anyone asks expecting a small number, I'll just lie about it. Easy.

:p

I'm not a relationshippy person, all in all.
