How come noone talks about a Voyager reboot?

How are we supposed to know?

Oh no! Voyager's my favourite but there's no need for this at all.

I love that first link describing Voyager as a "sitcom" though. I've been saying that for years, good to see someone else finally make the case, even if it's probably a third-rate LLM just spitting out SEO content. That's my kind of wavelength.

Have you actually read those links? They seem to be just AI-generated junk/SEO click-bait.

Two big clues. One article is talking about Prodigy, and literally says there is no news about a reunion.

And the real gem is that latest piece which says: "Rumors of a Star Trek: Voyager reunion had the internet in a frenzy on Saturday (October 18) as reports claimed that UPN confirmed a revival of the popular sitcom for 2026."

UPN hasn't existed for 19 years.

Not. Click bait nonsense.

A reunion set in the PIC era might be fun. A semi-retired Janeway, Tom and B'Elanna and their kids, Harry in the captain's chair (this time canonically), and Seven still leading the Legacy crew. But a reboot? They couldn't make it work properly the first time; that's why it degenerated into TNG Lite.

Between Picard, Lower Decks, Prodigy, and Starfleet Academy, almost everyone was covered. I would've liked to have seen Torres somehow, somewhere. And Janeway was mentioned often enough in Picard that I think she should've been in PIC. But, otherwise, I'm happy with what we got or are getting.

I think Torres, Kes, and Neelix were the only ones who didn't get any followup in recent times. At least that I can recall. Prime Harry too, which is a shame.

Kes was problematic, given Jennifer Lien's issues. But since PRO had access to the Delta Quadrant, they could have given us an update on Neelix. And not including prime Harry when Garrett Wang was so available and so eager to be involved was just stupid.
