The more I look at Drexler's graphics from 2005 the more I agree with the scaling in them, as they line up pretty well with the official SNW numbers.

Drex's version could also benefit by borrowing from the Disco-verse to reconcile his deck 7 sickbay with the deck 5 sickbay from TOS in that, according to the supplemental material for Disco, there is a main sickbay and an 'overflow' sickbay on different decks in the saucer.

Yes, it does. Not heavily armed fast - warp factor twelve...

Meaning Transwarp capable. Because the only thing that makes sense for Transwarp, is a higher warp, more capable type of warp drive.

Since the next movie 'Star Trek III: The Search for Spock' we see a new Star Fleet ship...

The only other thought that I have had, is that a power build up is required before activating the warp drive...

In other words, it takes at least double the amount of power generated by the warp nacelles straight up.

So a Transwarp ship transfers through this process by reducing the time to high warp to close to zero.

This is looking at the whole actual franchise.

Funny story.
Back at the 6th grade talent show/moving up ceremony, some of my 6th grade classmates performed the Noah sketch for the school/parents.
They didn't do it all the way through, they broke it up into three or four bits interspersed throughout the show, and they included props like a stuffed pillow shaped like a hippo and a cardboard ark.
Another classmate played Classical Gas by Mason Williams, and another group performed Take the Long Way Home by Supertramp.

The TOS Enterprise is the exact same size as the SNW.

That's my controversial take for 2:43 in the morning. There's no upscaling or downscaling for Kirk, just the same ship with smaller quarters to accommodate a doubling of the crew size.
