I guess this is the end of the Wilson/House friendship.

I don't understand why. House wasn't sleeping (or even kissing) Amber, House risked his life to save hers and Amber simply met House to pick him up drunk from the bar. Please let me know what I missed...

Because if it wasn't for House she would have not have been there.

Well that's silly. House didn't cause the crash itself. You can't blame someone for something they've no control of.

It's all moot, I highly,, HIGHLY doubt the House/Wilson friendship is over.

Moot, yes. However, while House didn't cause said bus accident, he did choose to to get smashed to the point where he needed a ride home. To a distraught mind such as Wilson's would seem to be, House's guilt could be rationalized in that way.

Which reminds me, was it ever established just why he got so drunk?

No, it wasn't. Either House just felt like getting drunk (maybe because his leg was acting up more than usual) or it's going to be a plot point next season. I'm betting on the former.

I've seen friends break up over FAR lesser matters, and I'm sure you have too. Wilson's only human.

It would be horrible to see House downing his Vicodin with a flask of whiskey.

I know I'm pretty late to this party, but... I am glad Amber the Cuthroat Bitch is dead, but very worried that Wilson is going to blame/hate House next season.

House, MD - House/Wilson in Season 5

icon_bump.gif

A major bump, but after remembering that people were curious to see how Wilson would deal with House "indirectly killing" Amber, I just found a Season Five promo on YouTube. The video is here. And if you're too lazy to click:

Wilson plans to resign.

And if you're avoiding spoilers, avoid this post all together. :D

NNNNOOOOOOO!!!! Wilson is not allowed to resign!

There's a second, longer promo here (without the above spoiler).

Yeah, but it will probably make for a great storyline. Their relationship is at the heart of this show (and a big part of the reason why the finale was so fantastic).

Ah, Wilson's a drama queen. I love the character, but I wouldn't be surprised if his resignation was just another plot to try to get House to admit he's human.

I can see it now (similar to Foreman's resignation)
House: You're faking it.
Wilson: No, I'm not. But the fact that you're denying it means you might actually miss me.
House: No, I can't say I'll miss you. Now, Raoul, the guy at the coffee store who finally gets that I just want my coffee black, no frappachino, mochachino, espresso crap, if he were to leave, I'd miss him.
Wilson: Oh, my God. You feel guilty and think this has to do with you.
House: Everything has to do with me.
