Hoshi & T'Pol: Sugar, Spice and Pon farr.

Hoshi definitely strikes me as sexually open (not promiscuous, just open) and generally well-centered. She certainly could have been open or attracted to Rajiin based on what we saw onscreen.

So, to redirect this thread back to the possibility of Hoshi/T'Pol - it's a stretch, but Mistress Euclid responded to our call over the Expanse for some RU femslash [WARNING: NC-17]. We want our archive to be well rounded, and we have some femslash fans who aren't necessarily writers - so we had been pestering some of our writers to step up.

Hey -- not entirely related to the femslash topic, but in response to someone's earlier comment about Vulcan/human hybrid pregnancies requiring excessive medical intervention, I found a link to a recording made of Gene Roddenberry interviewing Marc Lenard in character as Sarek, in which pon farr and Spock's conception and gestation are discussed: http://www.manchesterstarfleet.co.u...rek-interview&catid=1:miscellaneous&Itemid=15

Now, individual mileage will vary as to how "canon" you take this to be -- it didn't occur on screen, but this was done by the creator and sold on an LP record called "Inside Star Trek". Regardless, it does relate to the Vulcan mating drive and hybrid pregnancies, so I thought you all might enjoy listening.

I now return you to happy thoughts of T'Pol and Hoshi in a healthy, loving relationship. Or of T'Pol and Hoshi pudding wrestling. Whichever you prefer! ;)

This is a very interesting clip to listen to. I have the book "The Making of Star Trek" by Gene Roddenberry published in the late 1960's and there are some similarities to this audio, but there are also some conflicts. To listen to this audio, one would conclude that Spock was the first Vulcan / Human hybrid, but the book indicates that he was not. The book said that Vulcan/Human children were rare but not unheard of and required great medical intervention. Of course on-screen canon says Spock was not the first. I guess even "The Creator" can cause "canon conflict". (Brennan Braga, eat your heart out)

BTW: I definitely envision pudding wrestling.

PLEASE NOTE:

Any links to R- or NC-17 rated material (fiction or artwork) MUST be clearly labeled as such, with rating or "NSFW." Please keep in mind that this is a family board. Thanks.

Also, didn't Tuvok deal with his PF with a HOLOGRAM of his wife? His holographic wife wasn't really female, but more like a very realistic sex doll.
Wow, seriously?

I actually didn't know that. I only knew about Vorik because I happaned to catch a rerun of "Blood Fever" years ago.

The hologram of T'Pel? That didn't work, AFAIK. Not as a release for pon farr.

IIRC, Tuvok's pon farr is resolved by the hologram of his wife. However, earlier in the series when Vorik goes through pon farr, the doctor offers him a hologram and it doesn't work, although I was under the assumption it was because Vorik didn't stick around long enough after the doctor left since he was intent on getting to B'Elanna.

Tuvok's pon farr was resolved with the aid of a hologram and extensive meditation. Vorik's use of a hologram didn't work because he didn't even give it a chance - he was so determined to do the deed with Torres.

I'm leaning toward the pon far being a drive to procreate, not just a drive to have sex - otherwise, I doubt Tuvok would have needed to go through all his meditation along with having sex with a hologram.

Now, can we please talk about T'Pol/Hoshi pudding wrestling?
