This whole situation reminds me of Enterprise in it's fourth season. A new producer comes in, and there is a great increase in quality; but it comes late in the show, when half the audience has already tuned out. It was too late for Enterprise, is it too late for Heroes?

I'm guessing Heroes has a bigger cushion than Enterprise, since it's original audience was so huge, and it's pretty much the only thing NBC has going for it at the moment. One can't help but be a bit concerned, however. :vulcan:

Voted "Above Average" but only when compared to the best of the Season 1 episodes. The was pretty clearly the best episode of the year, if not the past couple of years.

yeah, i understand your points. I and assume all of you hope, for there to finally be one truly, epic, kickass season finale and episodes leading up to it. We as fans, deserve at least that.

""- I don't like the idea of Sylar working with Danko. They need to give us a really good reason why Sylar doesn't just attack Building 26 and take the powers of every single person there."" Maybe that's why he's working with Danko. To get in close past the security to get at all those tasty powers without a fight. This way he gets to scope out all his meals without having to worry about the government agents getting the jump on him again, and when he's ready he can take them out in one fell swoop.

Quote button not working ?

I doubt Sylar would work with them unless he felt he really needed to. If he'd just marched in there, I doubt there's much Danko's men could do to stop him.

Since I'm on dial-up I turn off images and java to load pages faster, which means I can't use any functions of the BBS system. It also means I can't see smiley face icons which makes everyone seem a lot more cruel and sarcastic :D

I'm sorry, but I don't think that this episode is any better or worse than previous episodes. I think the Bryan Fuller hype is playing tricks on some people's minds. Apart from two major characters biting the dust, it wasn't all that different.

Actually, I can't understand all that negativity about the last two seasons. Just because not every plot point is resolved by the end of the episode doesn't make it a bad show or bad writing. Sooner or later everything will play out, you just have to be patient!

The last scene was genuinely touching and there was a nice Hiro moment. Plus Angela's scenes were fascinating. I gave it an excellent. That's relative compared to everything else, but still a good overall episode.

Yea. The main part of this whole rebel thing is I just don't understand why they never suspected Micah. They have records on every one of the characters on heroes with powers (well other then Nathan), but they mysteriously didn't know anything about Micah?

well... most government agencies rely on the fact that once information is in the computer it's checked for accuracy first time... then its always there and correct... all micha has to do is think the delete key at the info and well... your invisible... you control the cameras in the area... you can in essence be invisible.

the world after all is striving to become a paperless society...

What was that wink? Kinda creepy with only half a frozen face.

I'm kinda hoping she's evolving... he leaves her... she melts into a big puddle... then uses her cold powers to come back somehow. sorta like the sandman (sorry for the marvel tiein) but with water.

Now that's more like it! Not quite an excellent, but definitely an above average for me.

OMG, Micah is Rebel! I totally didn't see that coming!!!

;)

Hiro and Ando had some amusing moments, and yes, I got a kick out of all the Trek references. Hiro's attitude toward the baby seemed a little out of place to me at first, but I guess it sort of makes sense, after he revealed he still wasn't completely over going through his mother's death once again. Oh yeah, and Hiro has his powers back, but they are considerably reduced. Good. I hope we don't have to see any more time-travelling on the show for awhile, if ever.

If I was hero I'd have ando hang on to the baby while I'm trying to use my other powers and have ando make the baby touch me somehow to get the rest of the powers back.

and it's definitely worth a try on peter.

I still think a lot of this hype is just in everyone's head. It was better than the last few weeks, but not that much.

Not that that's Fuller's fault. He came in smack in the middle of a tightly woven serialized story. I'll be excited for the show in season 4, but until then he's just basically doing damage control.

I honestly thought they were going to go down a different road with Hiro this episode.

While I was watching, I suspected that the Genesis Device Baby (hahaha) had just allowed Hiro to stop time... and that they were going to be stuck like that for a while. That Hiro was going to have to raise and care for the child while trying to teach him how to control his power as he developed, and with his off-time spent becoming who we know as Future Hiro.

Then bam! A seemingly instant upgrade to the character to everyone else. Would have been a nice way to get him there, especially now that Hiro is reviled by a good many people as opposed to the awesome that was Future Hiro.

You know, I actually liked that episode. Between Micah and Janis Parkman, there was a nice callback to the first season. The visuals on tonight's show were great, particularly in the last scenes.

Wow... Fuller might be able to fish this turd back out of the bowl, after all.

I guess we'll see. Either this episode was significantly better than the previous installments of Fugitives... or my expectations for Heroes have been lowered so far that I can't even tell anymore.

I'm glad Hiro got his powers back.

Yeah, yeah. I know. Most people thought he was over-powered and under-funny. I just hated all this "they have their powers" / "they don't!" crap. Either figure out how to write intelligently about characters who are masters of time/space, and are sponges for other powers, or don't create such characters.

I watched the show because of those powers, and nearly stopped watching because I got sick of them without, or with different ones.

He doesn't. He's still nerfed just like Peter.

Totally agreed.

I do not know how people lacking the imagination to write stories about someone who can manipulate time and space can get jobs working on television.

How many decades of Doctor Who does it take to prove that you can write a show with time travel in it anyway ?

1963 to current would be four and a half.

However, some might not count the 15 year breather in the middle, which would make it 3.

Although, do you count the one evening with the movie, and do you count the last three years twice, or thrice because of Sarah Jane and Torchwood which can easily push us into 5 decades.

It was a rhetorical question. There have been 725 episodes of the series and I expect most people have asked why the Doctor doesn't just go back in the TARDIS and fix anything that goes wrong. We even had one of the guys who played the Doctor on Heroes.

Every time Hiro has used time travel, things have gone badly for him. That's a limitation. Limitations are good. Peter potentially going nuclear if he uses too many powers at the same time is a limitation too.

On the other hand, take the powers away and the character just becomes a useless appendage. Peter's superhero name should be Captain Redundant, he can only do what the guy standing next to him can already do, so what use is he ? He's too dumb to use another person's powers more effectively than they can.
