heroes 2010 calendar mistake

Temis, you're making that shit under the spoiler tag up. That's too stupid to have happened on screen. Not even Heroes is that pathetic. :wtf:

You'd watch this, but the much superior Supernatural still holds no interest for you? :cardie:

It does should like just random shit I made up, doesn't it. But I swear it's all true! :rommie:

Eh, for whatever reason, I just don't give flip about that show. I don't care about the characters or what happens to them. Bad as it is, Heroes holds my interest, if only to see how bad one show can get.

The show comes back tomorrow (two hour extravaganza! 8-10pm) so check it out because you'll have to see it to believe it when
they finally get around to burying Nathan but the guy Peter is mourning isn't his actual brother but rather the brainwashed Sylar persona who "died" in the previous episode.

I keep watching because I'm waiting for the writers to finally admit this is all just a sick, sick joke. :rommie:

Cripes, you've got to be kidding. Nathan's been dead for months...because of him. People wouldn't react that way. They'd want to stay away from loving a copy out of guilt if nothing else. That's why I hated the episode Similitude on ENT but this show did it one better by making it an ongoing plot. Plus he's not a real copy. He's Sylar. I think I made the right decision bailing on this. Petrellicest was one of the few strengths of this show. So was Pasdar. :wtf: Are they clueless? Is Hiro still acting like an idiot? I'll bet a dozen donuts he is.

I still want Pasdar on my show. He's the only other actor besides Mark Sheppard who would have been able to pull off the Crowley demon character--and kiss another man on the lips like a good crossroads demon sealing a deal. Sheppard was too cool on his twitter saying he'd filmed his first make out session. With a banker receiving bail out funds in exchange for his soul no less. Hee.

They should cut their losses and resurrect Nathan somehow. Who cares if people say they did it before? They've done everything before. At least this might be slightly palatable.

This is a show where a Hiro is being blackmailed into helping The Big Bad Guy because he had a time traveler of his own who kidnapped and displaced Hiro's true love. Yet Hiro won't go back in time to when she was kidnapped and rescue her.

I may as well stop being coy with the spoiler tags. Obviously nobody really cares about being spoiled on this show. :D

So here's what you missed:

The Haitian clues in Peter to go visit a certain storage locker and says "don't tell Nathan." Of course Peter immediately trots off to tell Nathan (duh, Haitian, you couldn't predict that?) Together they visit the storage locker and find...ta dah! Nathan's body.

Peter's reaction: Meh, who cares. Nathan's reaction: Uh, I hope this isn't what I think it is. My reaction: Angela dumped the body of her first born son off at Rent-a-Shed??? Geeze, lady! :rommie:

The dren hits the fan at Thanksgiving Dinner, when Angela finally blurts out the truth: Nathan is dead and the guy Peter thinks is Nathan is actually brainwashed Sylar.

Peter's reaction: Meh, who cares. This guy sitting next to me looks just like Nathan and that's the same thing, right? Pass the cranberry sauce.

Nathan's reaction: I'm so upset by this shocking development that I will change back into Sylar now so I can kill both of you, but not before scarfing down all the punkin pie.

But the Nathan persona re-asserts itself before Sylar can chop off Angela's skull and he flies away. Determined to rescue his "brother," Peter goes back to the hospital and loads up on various medical supplies that somehow are supposed to help return Sylar to Nathan-hood permanently. Not sure how that was supposed to work. Maybe Peter just likes stealing stuff from work.

Then he charges off...well I'm not sure where he thought he was going, since he didn't have the first clue where Nathan-Sylar had gone. Helpfully, Nathan-Sylar decides to visit the hospital (now returned to the Sylar persona), they fight, and that's where we come in with the nail gun...

Oh I forgot to mention that Thanksgiving Dinner included some discussion of souls and metaphysics that suggest the writers want us to actually believe that Nathan is not just brainwashed Sylar but that Matt somehow grabbed Nathan's soul (after he died, maybe it was hanging around?) and inserted it in Sylar's body. Wow, Matt!!! And he didn't even realize what he was doing! Matt's been promoted from mutant to semi-diety.

And I also forgot to mention...they introduced a character who can split into multiple selves...hmm, now what could that power be used to accomplish?

Sounds like someone wants to bring Nathan back. God, those spoilers sound like crap otherwise. So Peter was actually willing to accept Nathan's murderer as Nathan. :wtf: Hopefully there's no afterlife, because if Nathan's hanging around he probably wants to kill the disloyal little brat. Cripes. That's something I'd never have to worry about on my show with brothers literallly selling their souls to a crossroads demon to get the other back. :D When that shape shifter shifted into Dean, Sam was trying to blow him away but good. KAPOW! Eat my gun. Accept no substitutes.

Most likely this will be the last season so the fanfic writers can take things from where they leave off, and if they do what I think they're going to do (Peter and Sylar live happily ever after), I'm thinking we should take a page from Virtual Firefly and just start a fanfic site to continue/revamp Heroes and try to do our best to undo the damage. :rommie:

And if the story needs to journey to the afterlife to make things right, count me in.

I've signed up to write the Heroes relaunch novelizations. I've already got plans for a big bad who will blow up New York City, but Parkman sees the future in his visions and tries to stop it. But then Peter and Sylar lose their powers and can't stop the bad guy. So when the Heroes get close to finding a solution that will help them, Hiro and Ando must leave to help a a Croatian open up a bubble tea shop because it's Hiro's destiny.

Hate to ruin the comedy here but he was planning to ambush Sylar and sedate him with the drugs he took.

Then he was going to use the Haitian's powers to wipe all of Sylar's memories, leaving only Nathan. Except Peter knows from personal experience that the Haitian's mind wiping power doesn't necessarily work on people with regenerative healing.

Yeah I figured that much but it still doesn't explain why he decided to use the nail gun if his goal was to bring Nathan back...just wallop Sylar with a two-by-four and use the mind-wipe immediately instead of putting his own brother through unnecessary pain.

And if Sylar is just going to regenerate his way out of the mind-wipe, then what's the point of the drugs? Peter would have to keep Nathan permanently drugged. I think I'm veering into fanfic territory so it's time to stop. :D

Funny how the Haitian's mind-wipe is frakked because of regeneration but Matt's brainwashing works just fine. Huh.

Good start. Have Sylar and Angela turn out to be the same person and I think you're onto something there.

When this show finally gets cancelled for good, I'm going to start a Heroes Rewrite Project thread. And I expect everyone to take it seriously!

Okay Dorian, the latest news from Lake Wobegon is that now they're implying that Nathan (and Matt's) memories in Sylar's noggin are making him nicey-nice and no doubt eventually will lead to his being reformed.

So Sylar will be rewarded for murdering Nathan by being redeemed by the memories of the guy he murdered. What a happy ending!

PS, also he and Claire will get married. I hope Nathan approves of his new son-in-law from heaven. :)

The way it was portrayed, Peter was able to undo the memory loss when he purposefully tried to remember someone. It first happened when his mother came to visit him in the future, he suddenly remembered everything about her.

Then, Adam gave him a photo of himself and Nathan and his memories came flooding back.

My guess is that the Haitian's powers are a form of brain damage that can be healed. That possibly also explains why Sandra, who had probably been a victim of the Haitian's powers more than anyone, broke down.

Hey, if Claire can be all buddy buddy with the puppet master who tormented her, her mother and her biological mother, than anything is possible on this show that is written as haphazardly as a soap opera.

Quinto's under contract, and as long as he's their new big name, they won't let him break it anytime soon... assuming of course the show lasts beyond this season.

Plus I'm sure he likes his co-workers and the paychecks.
