News He-Man anime series from Kevin Smith coming to Netflix

Going by the title and the artwork, one assumes this will focus squarely on the Eternian monarchy? Not a bad tack.
If I were to speculate...
Randor is killed, Adam is required to grow up fast and become a king. A definitive conclusion to his hero's journey. Might also require him to give up the champion mantle (once he's repelled the Horde invasion and sent Skeletor to Despondos with them). Show ends with a royal wedding. Marlena may or may not return to Earth.

I'm glad they're getting a second season. I genuinely loved the first season, so I'm glad they're getting to do more with this version of He-Man.

Not worth it's own thread but... are you thinking what I'm thinking...

I'm excited for this! Gotta say, the trailers for each season are SO good at pumping me up for the actual show, which though I seem to be in a minority, lived up to them.

A non-spoiler review from someone that's seen the five episodes. He seems quite impressed with it.

It was alright, but it felt so rushed. They really tried to cram a lot into five 25-minute episodes.

Loved John de Lancie and William Shatner. Didn't expect Shatner to play a major character, thought it'd be a cameo. Keith David was perfect as Hordak, wish he had a bit more screen time. Mark Hamill still doesn't work for me as Skeletor.

Not sure why Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alicia Silverstone didn't return, but if I'm being honest, Melissa Benoist and Gates McFadden are a much better fit. Jeffrey Combs showing up as Zodak was just icing on the cake.

I wish they'd told this story over ten episodes, give all the plot threads some room to breathe. Well, it is what it is.

Oh, one more thing... Lena friggin' Headey!

She's just a treasure.

I couldn't even find the show without searching. I would've thought watching the previous part would shoved it somewhere into the recent releases/suggested for you/etc sections.
