HBO's True Blood season one....spoilers, of course

Sam is a great salve for Nathan withdrawal pangs, no, Melancholymecha? He's a cutie. :techman: I agree that the dog someone seems like "him," like what Sam Trammell would really look like in dog form. Sam's got the loyal personality of a lovable canine and everyone (except that scumbag may he rot in hell Michael Vick) loves dogs, so what's not to like? There may be a long wait for the season two DVD. I hope not.

Seriously? Following a post that points out it's a season one thread, you thought it was an ok idea to post pretty much the entire plot of season two? And since there was an hour between that post and yours, it's not like you could miss it.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Sorry, I honestly forgot where 1 ended and 2 started. But I made it so vague that if you haven't seen season two there is no real spoiler, I never gave anything away did I?
There was more plot. Well, a little bit. We don't want to spoil things for those just getting into the series. Go forth, and sin no more. :D

Thanks for responding everyone. I'm glad there are some folks who enjoyed it more than startrekwatcher, but I look for all opinions in my threads, so it's copacetic.

I watched the first season, but I don't plan on checking out the second.

Overall, it was okay, but nothing special. Some of the character motivations seemed to come from out of nowhere. For example, when Sookie and Bill first have sex, it is the night right after her grandmother's funeral. What? I felt like I missed an episode. Same sort of thing with Jason joining that Anti-Vampire church at the end of the season. He was coming around to accepting Vampires and Bill and actually seemed bored with the guy who gave him the pamphlet, but five minutes later, he's with the anti-Vampire crowd. What?!

I liked the idea of the Vampires being out in the open. That was original to me. I also thought the whole Vampire hierarchy was very interesting and wish more time was devoted to that.

The whole Tara story arc of the first season seemed like a complete waste of time that had little to nothing to do with the central story of the season. It was so disconnected from everything else, except at the end where they tie it into Sam. Honestly, they could have gotten rid of it all, except for the last two episodes or so.
