And cool characters!

I'm 7 episodes into the series and I already like Walter. He's like that insane scientist you want to keep an eye on because you are fascinated by what he will do next. Also, the episode when we were first introduced to the Observer was a phenomenal ending. I also think Torv is doing a great job with Olivia, especially talking about being emotional motivates her in doing the job. I do think it can get repetitive a little with the human experiments and putting things into human bodies, and it's really close to X-Files, but I'm enjoying it so far.

And Cowboy Bebop. That one really shocked since I had no idea he was on it until his character first spoke.
I thought Fringe started off a little rough, but once it found it's footing it was great. Walter is definitely the best part of the show.

I just watched episode 9 last night and I'm starting to see some of the big arcs start to form, especially with John in Olivia's head, and the stuff dealing with the Tank. The first few episodes seemed very X-Files light, but the characters are great to watch so far. Walter has been the highlight, but all the characters have been really good, except for maybe Broyals, who is really playing the Early Skinner role. Hopefully he gets more to do as the series goes on.

It gets pretty arc heavy once it gets going, the early case of the week episodes just kind of introduce everything, and then once that's out of the way things really take off.

I found the start of the 2nd season to be the weakest of the series. That it started pretty strong, slumped for those episodes, and then picked back up again.

Is it just me or does Clint Howard play the same character in most of his roles. I have made it to the penultimate episode of Fringe's first season, and Howard is playing a conspiracy theorist. I'm reminded of his character in DS9's Past Tense, who was also a conspiracy theorist. Also, he's blurting out Star Trek references. That's nice.

Broyals gets much cooler later.

Just finished binging Adventure Time (and AT: Distant Lands) on HBO Max. A legitimately great show, even if probably about 50% of its regular episodes rank from boring to outright bad. The finale for the main two characters ("Together Again" from Distant Lands, as opposed to the main show's Season 10 finale) was quite possibly the most emotional finale I've ever seen. Overall I had a great time, and I'm glad I was finally able to sit down and watch it.

Is this a spin-off of Doom Patrol? I haven't seen all of it yet, but I thought I read somewhere that The Dead Boy Detectives showed up in Doom Patrol at some point, and one of Doom Patrol's producers is doing is also working on it.

They were on Doom Patrol, but I can't tell from the article if this is a spinoff or not.
