HBO Max Streaming Service Thread

I can't remember, did the Replicants in Blade Runner have red blood?
The replicants in Blade Runner often physically resembled humans so well in every respect, The only way they could be detected was via that psychological test and device that you saw Harrison Ford using.

There were a couple of models that were less human-like, but the blood was still red.

Watched Alien 3 this morning, and it was better than I expected. Not quite as good as the first two, but still enjoyable. Ripley's death was pretty epic.

Alien: Resurrection:
I enjoyed this one a lot more than 3, it had a better cast, more interesting characters, and the whole thing with Ripley now being part Xenomorph, and the hybrid was pretty interesting. I also liked Jean-Pierre Jeunet's style more than David Fincher's.
I hadn't originally planned on rewatching Prometheus, but they do have on HBOMax, so I'm gonna go ahead and rewatch it.
Anyone know if the Predator movies are on any of the streaming services? I haven't seen all of them either, I've seen all of the first, part of 2, and Predators.

OK, thanks. I don't have Starz so I'm outa luck. I think those premium channel contacts for movies tend to be temporary, so I'll keep my fingers crossed they'll end up on one of the services after the contract is up. Since they're Fox I would guess Hulu, but the Alien and Predator vs Alien movies are on HBOMax, so I could see them going there so all of them are together.

I imagine the Alien movies being on HBOMax could be temporary as well. Though they're in that weird Disney bubble of movies they now have ownership but don't seem interested.

The companies make more money renting their titles out to other streaming services than they do holding onto them on their own services. It's got to be something like Friends in order for them to hold onto it like gold.

FOX had a lot of streaming deals before Disney bought them, that's why most of the X-Men movies weren't on Disney+ in the US at launch, and Disney+ still doesn't have Dark Phoenix (and maybe a few others?). I'd assume that the Alien movies will move to Hulu (in the US at least) whenever the deal FOX had with HBO is over.

Dark Phoenix is on HBOMax, I'm assuming as the last part of Fox's deal with HBO.

But wouldn't that also be promoting their content with a competitor?

Good news on Harley Quinn.

DC Universe only doing comics was expected. Though I do wonder what happens with Titans, now. A third season is coming, does that also go to HBO Max?

I loved Harley Quinn the first season. The second season was not as good for me. Hoping Season 3 can get back on track.

It's been pretty obvious that was the direction DC Universe was going for quite a while now, but it's still nice to get official confirmation.
They've said all of the DCU shows will be going to HBOMax, so that will also include Titans Season 3 and Young Justice: Phantoms.

What I now noticed is that the comics-only DC Universe app will be globally available, and now that is certainly interesting to me. I'm not big on digital comics, but I'd get it to read some of the stuff that's not readily available in print, like I did with the Icon and Hardware collections during Fandome Day 2.

Will this be the first time they've been portrayed as a couple outside of the comics?

What about the back catalog? Batman TAS, Superman TAS, Lois and Clark, the 1970s Wonder Woman, etc. Will THOSE be coming to HBO Max?
