Haynes Enterprise Manual? ... Part Two...

It's probably an extension of the bullshit that got the post-STXI novels cancelled.

If I want to read about the prime Enterprise, I'll dig out my Franz Joseph manual, blueprints and Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise.
I want a manual dedicated to the 725m monster Enterprise!! :scream:

Epic fail, everyone involved.

My biggest objection is that by covering so many ships, none of them will be covered in the exhausitive detail I expected. How many pages does a typical Haynes manual have? I would expect it to be about the same size as the older Tech manuals or smaller.

The way I read it, it's *not* going to cover the JJ Enterprise.

Yeah. Being awake now that's how I read it too. Which is a) a shame, b) a missed opportunity to cover it in some detail, and c) not going to stop me from buying this book.

I really like the look of the Ambassador-class so I'm looking forward to what it says about the C.

It says on the cover if you look close that it has 176 pages and 200 color pictures...which doesn't make sense to me but that is possibly because I just woke up.

Looks Kewel? I know that pic is just preliminary art, and not representitive of final tech, but if this is any indication of the direction they're headed, it looks like it has an "on centerline bridge" which should make CRA happy?

This will be one book that I will definately purchase. I still feel that JJ's Enterprise does not fit any lineage and is a unique design all its own.

Wonder if Canadian Tire Stores will carry the book? :rommie:
I'm glad that its coming out it will be a great addition to the other Trek Tech books that I have :bolian: was there an
estimated release date on it mentioned? :)
Though in my opinion Each ship should have its own manual ;) Still I'll take what I can get:)

The non-fiction book TERRAFORMING was an SAE product--so I am thinking that with the web, car manual producers are looking to partner with folks who cannont afford publishing houses of their own sci-fi products. Wasn't Starlog dependant on wrestling mags at one time?
