There are a lot of directors who think they can write, but shouldn't. Snyder is one of them. His movies are feasts for the eyes but please put someone else on the typewriter.

I like his movies for what they are. Heck I can say to same to many of Micheal Bay movies, especially in the 90's when he was making movies like The Rock and Con Air.

Snyder always strikes me as a wonderful graphic artist or designer, individual frames of his stuff can look amazing, it's just that a lot of the time he doesn't know how to link these together so however action packed his stuff is I sometimes find his movies oddly static.

I thought Army of the Dead and the extended cut of Justice League held together well. Although the longer cut of Batman v Superman was more coherent and I enjoyed it there was still something off.

He didn't write Batman v Superman or Man of Steel. He did write (co-write) Army of the Dead and Justice League.
