I heard it from an insider who heard it from an outsider that they are having problems with the nacelle caps on the new cgi model this year in that they are too dim and look sepia toned and that they are thinking about replacing the spinning glowing caps entirely and using propellers instead.

Why does that recent TrekToday news item say that *every* episode will be released (remastered) on HD-DVD by the end of this year? They haven't actually done them all yet, have they?

I've heard a couple of rumors that Mike Okuda and his CGI people are moving on to TNG to change effects in that show after TOS Remastered is finished and they've contributed to the new movie next year.

no they are releasing season one of TOS just like the SD Season One box. Do not confuse season one of TOS with the syndication schedule...which is easy to confuse. pretend the DVDs have nothing to do with the syndication thing
