Trademark is finally out! It almost beat Donbrothers for release time.

The 2025 sentai is called

NO.1 SENTAI GOZYUGER

Please not another Dinosaur Sentai, we need a LONG break from a Dinosaur motif.

Gozyuger probably means "Five Beast-ger." It's been rumored that the themes are animals and rings.

It was rumored back in September that the title was Inochi Sentai Gozyuger, with Inochi meaning Life. Maybe somebody misheard Ichigo, Japanese for "Number One," although they've ended up going for the phonetic English title, "Nanbaawan Sentai." A rather strange name for the 49th series.

Not really that strange at all. Number One + 49th series = 50th Team since Goranger.

No, it's the other way around. If this is the 49th series including Gorenger, then it's the 48th team since Gorenger.

I guess it could be considered the 50th if you count Lupinranger and Patranger as two separate teams, but that still doesn't explain the "Number One."

Gozyuu, spelled Go-Juu/Go-Jyuu literally means Fifty.

Oh, yeah, that makes sense.

In Japan, the Gozyuger trademark dropped Novemeber 1st

11/1 - Nov. 1 - No. 1 Sentai

Nanbawan Sentai Gozyuja is first time the prefix is in Katakana

The 1st for the franchise !

Absolutely I count Lupinranger and Patranger as two separate teams, that is how the gag works.

The first sentai with a female 6th ranger?

Go-On Silver was the first female Sixth, though she shared the "Sixth" status with Go-On Gold. But yeah, we still haven't had a solo female Sixth, so that would be good. Although a female Red would be even better. Or both.

It's possible they're using "Number One" to mean the best, as in "We're Number One!"

Rumors

-The show begins with a flashback in the year 2000. Like Ninninger, the team’s grandfather was the original Red Wolf. The powers are passed

-team is a family
-suits have some similarities to ZyuOhger. Probably means there is fur and feathers on the suits

-There are flashbacks with previous generations of the team, like Ninninger
-Many legendary Sentai will show up.

This looks really good. Kamen Rider Gavv’s first major upgrade.

One other interesting detail that the toy and the SG toys revealed.

Shoma can summon Whip Soldiers, which are closer to the older siblings' agents than the Gochizo.

More descriptions about the Gozyuger suits and arsenal

-Gozyuger helmets are ornate. Just my opinion- but the most beautiful helmets ever on a Sentai team. They do have a Choseishin feel to them, but stick closer to classic Sentai. I would say they more closely resemble something out of the Chinese sentai series. (Just the helmets, not the suits.) Each helmet is in the ranger's branded color (red, blue, green, yellow, black) but the accents are all gold. It is very obvious what each one's motif is. Black has a bit of pink as an additional accent color.

-Changer looks nuts. "Fist Sword" is the only viable way to describe it. It is a golden Infinity-gauntlet like thing with the blade (really two blades that are put together) extending out around the middle finger. The blade is a light blue. The rings have the animal head and are plugged into the middle finger. Again, like the helmets, everything is ornate.

-As far as I can tell, the changer can turn into robo mode on its own, without the use of the personal weapons which become arms. Transformation looks fairly complex, but not overly so. The index and ring finger seem to fold down to make the legs (the "wrist" of the hand becomes the waist) and then the thumb and pinky become the arms, with the right hand having a small, blue blade jutting out from it. (the nails of the fingers are all blue, this looks like one of the nails.) The shoulders and chest have these ornate claw designs, with the chest center being a red circle (maybe just for Red's mode?). The head is the ring, but the animal head is flipped up to show the robot face. Red's robo almost looks like BoonBoomGer Robo wearing a wolf helmet. Very cool. Oh, and the sword blade splits in two to make wings.

The helmet description sounds good. I'm not familiar with Choseishin, but the description reminds me of Dairanger, which had probably my favorite Sentai armor design (I've always regretted that Power Rangers didn't use any of them except the White Ranger). The changer sounds really weird, though.

Allegedly a sketch of the 2025 Red Ranger

GoZyu Wolf

If true, this would be the first wolf-themed Red. We've had NinjaBlue (mecha, not costume), GingaYellow (sort of, since it was a wolf-like Starbeast), GaoSilver, Wolzard, GekiViolet, a third of Zyuoh TheWorld, and Ookami Blue. Also, RangerWiki treats RPM's Ranger Operator Series Black as wolf-themed even though Go-on Black was based on a German Shepherd/police dog.
