World-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms, USA (WWOOF-USA) is part of a world-wide effort to link volunteers with organic farmers, promote an educational exchange, and build a global community conscious of ecological farming practices.

It's pretty much, you go and work on the farm and they let you live there, and they sometimes feed you. Most of them you don't get paid, which is BS, I mean $20 a week too much for these places? I know it's volunteering but I would need a little spending money, and I have student loans I need to pay off.
There is also NEWOOF which seems better (aka they give you money) because it's apprenticeship.

So pretty much I'm wondering if anyone has ever joined these groups or another farming apprenticeship group or anything similar?
