Well we know that Tom Paris was accepted back and made a hero.
That Chakotay was made a captain.
That Seven was treated like scum and driven to the edge of the galaxy to become Han Solo meets Batman.
But Kim? NO ONE KNOWS.
Seven treated like scum? I always got the impression that she was the main star of the show after her arrival.
As for Kim, the only consolation is that he comes out better in the Voyager books, even in those written after the series ended. At least he got promoted there.
Which is one of the reasons why I decided to dismiss everything which conflicts with the Lynxverse. I mean, I've been waiting for so many years to have a series which takes place in the 24th century. But when such series finally becomes reality, like PIC, PRO and LD, they mess upp everything. And no one's going to for quite awhile, I wager. The character "belongs" to PRO, but the latest season didn't feature him and it's completely up in the air if Netflix will be interested in actually continuing it. Remember that they basically bought S2 ready made, a pretty good bargain. Making a S3 will require a greater investment.
And if LD is over before his involvement in PRO is sorted out, there will be no more shows set in the timeline he existed in.
But what to expect by the 2020's, the most horrible decade in years.
Good question. Then why didn't she or Harry say as much in "Nightingale" or "Author, Author"?
Ayala often worked at OPS when Harry was off-duty or on some other mission so he must have been one of them.We know Harry has underlings. Seven, when doing her efficiency report, told him that he wasn't giving them enough work. Don't remember which episode.
Maybe it had something to do with the fact that he wasn't that fond of Iron Maiden's music?I wonder if Janeway was gaslighting him, telling him how awesome an officer he was and treating him like an incompetent.
