Spoilers Gotham - Season 4

I liked the original scarecrow. He was awesome and creepy and helped bridge the first season to the present. This changing actors crap is getting kind of old.

He was OK, but I'm not to bothered by the recasting. The third Ivy has me a little more annoyed, but it did seem to be set up the last time we saw her, so it looks like their might be a story reason for that one.

A little glimpse of what Alfred is up to now in this video - poor guy! I want to offer him a job!

Yeah, poor Alfred.

I always find it odd how Ben McKenzie talks normally in interviews so that Gordon growl seems to be a complete affectation.
Yeah, it has started to annoy me as well when it seems so forced. He didn't talk like that in the beginning.
Same with Cory Michael Smith.

Forget Bruce, we need an Alfred series.
We do! Oh, how I would love that.
Okay, I couldn't help myself, it HAD to be done! https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/the...scussion-thread.170698/page-434#post-12367804

Finally the show is back! Where is everyone?
This week was a great episode! It was a great episode for Alfred fans (like me, in case you hadn't noticed ;) ), Sean being able to show off all his different skills.

But I also loved how all the plots were interwoven. Often you get an A story and a B story, but here it all happened in the same neighbourhood: Alfred & Tiffany, Alfred and Jim helping with the explosion, and Doc and Ivy and Harvey too. It was all one big story instead of several small ones.

"He's a toymaker and an assassin."
"That's so Gotham."

I like this show but I don't even know how you'd describe what's it become it to someone. It's not even like a Batman thing it's almost like some batshit crazy crime noir saga. Like Dick Tracy on acid. Then again, I mostly know Batman through other media, maybe that is actually true to the comics?

This Gotham show is like a dark version of Shumacher's movies. Almost everyone is a sick freak.

Heck. Just going for a routine dentist visit could be your last one. The dentist works in a grimy part of town and doesn't have the best tools. He could even be a villain himself.

Also everyone laughs manically.

Another good return.
Poor Alfred, first he gets fired by Bruce and now he ends up getting framed for murder.
Selina in the Siren's Club commercial cracked me up.
The reveal of who was actually after Lee was a pretty good twist.
The new Ivy seems like she'll be a good villain.

"That's so Gotham."
Great episode. Whenever I think I don't need any more batshit craziness in my life Gotham comes along and proves me wrong.

Just binged the first 3 seasons of this on Netflix plus the currently aired Season 4 episodes over the last month, and I love this show.

I tried watching it when season 1 first aired and couldn't get into it, but I saw it on Netflix and forced my way through the first few episodes, and I started to like it.

Same here, the first episodes were a chore, perhaps because I didn't really get what they were going for but during the second half of season 1 I fell in love.

You get progressively more insane yourself by watching the show, so you don't mind the insanity in it. :D
