Got tickets?

^ Phew, we've ascertained that London is bigger than Pittsburg. I can rest easy now.

Perhaps a gag on the tv show Little Britain?

That's the seating chart at the moment, for the biggest and best cinema in London (where the premiere was). In theory it should be the busiest one, and the place everyone will want to see it.

The pic above is for Friday 8th, at 8.45pm.

I hope it fills up more :(

It's an old style movie house with BALCONY seating.
They don't have very many here in "The States" anymore.
Nowadays it's shoebox with screen at the end of it.
( With at least a minimum of 10 others the same size next to it. )

* Pondering where to see the film, he has many options out here *

Are cinemas really that small in the U.S.? Surely you must have some the size of the pic above?

^^^ Well, I'm from Canada and I'v enever seen one with that many seats to the left and right of the main section.
Are those 4 big parts on the top line all the balcony?

^ Here in Philadelphia, there is a theatre that is the largest and oldest on the East Coast. It's currently undergoing restoration, since it was last a UA theatre and it had been divided into 4 screens. Saw a Trek movie marathon there in 1991, before TUC came out, and it was awesome on such a huge screen!

What did I do? I don't work at the cinema, that's available to view online.

I'm just envious at little Brittan getting a theater that would be oversized in Pittsburgh. No worries. ;)

"Little Britain"?

I am pretty sure London is a bigger place than Pittsburg - wherever that is.

Yes, but the continental US is still far larger than the UK

We're like your fat, obnoxious grandchild! Who only opens your letters when we think there's a check inside!

I was going to watch it at a fancy theater in DC but the stupid shuttle is launching a day early so I'm going to be in Florida on opening day!

I'm debating on waiting a few days and seeing it here with friends or seeing it opening day at the Cape with no one.

Stupid Hubble.

I just grabbed 2 tickets for the Thursday, May 7 show at 10:30PM! I've been waiting 2 years to do that! :D

Regular Theater Ticket for 7pm Thursday...

IMAX Ticket for Friday Morning...

and one more for Monday morning (have to work Sat & Sun), the 11th.

Grabbed myself a ticket for Glasgows Cineworld 10am Thursday Morning. I was planning on grabbing some for friends but...

a) most of them are working and...
b) I've now been asked to head to the studio at BBC Scotland to give my thoughts on the movie.

I am getting paid to watch Star Trek. My life is officially complete.
